It was when there was 15% discount of all makeup items at The Body Shop which dragged me here to MakeupAlley to find out about this product. So, I found out that they had bronzing powder which got good reviews. I thought I had to try it since I had not found the right bronzing powder that did not cause me any acne problem, PLUS I trust The Body Shop because my skin never reacts badly towards their products.
This Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder has been my daily need since then. I tried so many products before, such as MAC, which irritated me and caused me acne prone after several weeks of usage. I am tanned and I like to keep looking tanned. Not all beauty brands have good skin tone complexion in their powders, sometimes it looks too orange, sometimes it looks too fake, and sometimes it is just too light. The Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder only has 2 shades, Light Matte and Medium Matte, I chose the Medium Matte. It blends perfectly on my face and no one recognize that I am wearing powder. It does not clog my pores, nor cause any breakout. It stays all day, and with the right highlighter, I look seriously glowing tanned. I got compliments a lot, also from my friends who are MUA's, that my face looks tanned and radiant. I also recommended this product to my friends, which also works wonder to them! I am happy that I decided to buy this product and I will definitely continue purchasing!

It's about time I found a high quality matte bronzer! The feel of this is silky smooth, it is relatively pigmented and it lasts for a long time. The colours are quite light but you can always build it up, the lighter colours are excellent for super pale people like me.
I don't use this as a bronzer but a all over powder. The darkest shade is similair to my NW35-40 skintone so deepskinned beauties can't really use this.. But it's a good bronzer range for pale skinned beauties
This is light coverage, perfect for an everyday natural look. This gives a lovely glow to my face. It's just HG
I've used this product for many years, never fails on me. The trick is to find the right shade for your skin tone :) I'm Asian, medium skin tone and not really a fan of blush colours. This bronzer works wonders for me! Even though my work doesn't require me to use makeup, I use it daily to give my complexion a glow, and also sculpt my cheeks and jaw. The colour is not extensive, buildable, if you've used a base underneath it e.g. compact powder, 2 in 1 foundation powder etc. I definitely love the glow and the staying power is great. Best applied using angles blush brush. Plus, it doesn't give me any breakouts all these years. A pan of these can last for a few months. Worth the $$$ :))

I went shopping with my friends to find a good bronzer that goes well with my self-tanned body (don't like to use self tanners on my face) and i was going to buy the Bourjois - Delice de Poudre as it was the closest thing to my tan but then passed by (TBS) annual summer sale, i got this honey bronzer for 50% off so i guessed it would be a win win purchase, and i was right. got this in number 3 which looks and smells great, it's made in Italy, it's not oily at all and it matched my skin perfectly. but i still wanna try Bourjois - Delice de Poudre urgh!!!!
I love this product! Having only started using it for two days, its brilliant!
provides great coverage as I use it as a press powder as advised by the make up assist at Body Shop counter.
It goes on well, no mess. Provides skin with a nice healthy glow, good coverage and lasts all day without touch ups with no shine or grease spots. Its a non messy product too so easy to apply and go.
Also it doesn't cause break outs at all as its made from natural ingredients so benefits the skin as I use this daily. I used this to help clear up my break out from MAC Studio Careblend powder and it worked! Its clearing up my skin without blocking my pores.
Definitely a must buy again product!
Update after one month: i over estimated this product. really didnt work for me.. very orangey and didnt hold up shine or grease very well. staying power was terrible. it started to block my pores after a while so took time before it happened. oh well... mac blot powder will always be my fav!

I have been searching quite some time for a nice bronzing powder, to use all over my face. This one is quite good but have some major cons:
-Melts of my face in about 3 hours
-Cakes in dry areas
-Transfer to clothes etc
-If you apply to much i will look chalky
Pros:
-Nice colors (though they oxidize and turn orange after an hour)
-Matte
-Smells wonderful
-Does not cause any breakouts, redness etc
-Very nice packaging
But i would not buy this again, overall.
This bronzer is fantastic! I've tried MAC bronzing powder and basically every drug store brand and I find the shimmer in them all to be WAY over the top. I purchased this in 02 and it is the perfect contour shade for my nw20 skin. I apply this with a medium sized contour brush starting at my hair line and work it down into the hollow of my check and it works wonders! The great thing about the matt-ness of this bronzer is that it gives a more natural look but can easily be used in conjunction with a powder highlighter if shimmer is what you want. I find shimmer to be far more flattering applied on top of the cheek bones like a highlighter, instead of under the cheekbone. Furthermore, applying shimmering bronzer on my cheeks when I have breakouts is just not an option as I find the shimmer accentuates breakouts. This matt bronzer is perfect for my acne prone skin!
I'm Asian so the blushed look wouldn't suit me. I used to use brownish blusher to contour my round face, but it's not good enough to create that healthy skin glow. I guess a bronzer will be the right product for me but I never bought one before because I don't like the shimmery particles usually present in bronzer.
I bought this for my graduation day, and oh my, I love it! Be careful, though, because even if you get the light shade that is close to your skin tone such as Number 2, it can still look over-applied, unless you have it on for indoor/studio photo shoot. I brush it on with a blusher brush, on top of TBS Extra Virgin Minerals Compact Creme Foundation, or All-in-One Face Base (number 4, my all-time favorite).
Not sure about the packaging quality yet because I have it for less than a week, so I might get back on that later. Overall, it's awesome!
