This is a great MLBB colour for me. The idea of a lipstick made to be worn with jeans is a little hokey to me but I am glad I picked this one up. Its great to slick on quickly for a no fuss, polished look. I have skin that is quite pale and I really think this perks up my whole face. I also really enjoy the texture. Light and doesn't leave my lips a dried out mess. Due to this slippery texture it tends to wear off quite quickly but it feels so nice, its worth it to have to reapply. I don't normally spend so much on a lipstick but this was a great buy for me as I do find myself reaching for it often. Its worth the splurge for me if I get alot of use out of it. Packaging is also simple and chic which I enjoy. I will definetly be checking out some other LQ shades.

I have just repurchased this lippie... And I never repurchase the same lipstick. Like others, its the perfect MLBB on my neutral 20 skintone. My lips are quite pale, so if I wear a colour that's actually close to their natural state, I look washed out. This provides a perfect hint of tint, not too glossy, but just enough to make my lips look really healthy. It could be a glorified Burts Bees, but this one can actually be built up to a certain extent whereas Burts Bees don't have that ability.

I'm sure there are other brands/colours out there that would also fill the bill, but I don't want to go through the hassle (and cost) of finding them when this one suits just so well. Yes it needs to be reapplied, but this can be done easily without a mirror. And its seriously one of the few formulas that I can wear consistently without suffering from dried out lips. (The others being Ilia Beauty & rms beauty lip shines).

This lipstick/balm is not a ground breaking or edgy colour, but it is really pretty. Or at least it makes me feel pretty, like a better version of myself. continued >>

This is truly a wonderful natural look-- it does go well with a casual denim look, but also for just a quick swipe to brighten the face. I'd say its close to MLBB, so I reach for it quite often. It gives a nice pink wash of color. The staying power isn't great, but that is because it is moisturizing and comfortable to wear. I love having it in my bag for a natural pink look!

Since I have olive skin and very dark hair, I am quite wary of light and medium pink lipsticks - I have always thought of them as more appropriate for blondes and red heads. The only pink I have ever worn is bright fuchsia (a favorite). Given my love for the Lipstick Queen products, though, I decided to give this one a try. I have often seen it described as the color of baby lips, and that's a very accurate assessment. It's a neutral medium pink that did not pull cool on my pigmented lips at all. The formula is also fantastic (the best on the market, in my opinion): it feels like a balm but wears more like a lipstick...though if you are looking for all-day wear without touch-ups, this is not the lipstick for you. I see this as the perfect lipstick for work, weekends, or anytime you want a natural, healthy look. The matching lipgloss is fantastic as well, and a bit more pigmented, so if you want more color it's a nice option for deepening the tone and lengthening wear time a bit. As for looking particularly good with jeans - to me that's simply a cute gimmick, but I will say that this lipstick looks great with just about all casual and work clothing.

I thought the concept behind Jean Queen was gimmicky and a bit silly but I ordered it anyway because it seemed like a pretty color. Well, Jean Queen is nothing special and is hardly a universal shade. I am a yellow-toned NC20 with dark hair and eyes and as another review pointed out, Jean Queen requires a little more work for some of us. It's a nice color, but I found both the color and formula a little meh. It's also almost as sheer as a tinted lipbalm, which is annoying. If I wanted a tinted lipbalm, I would buy a tinted lipbalm. If you like lots of saturated color and lipstick that lasts longer than an hour (without eating or drinking), look elsewhere.

I also got this at the Barney's event. You don't often get a free, full sized product which you find yourself reaching for a lot. This is my go-to product when I'm just lounging around all day at my fiancé's. It's glossy and sheer enough to not look contrived, but, pigmented enough to make me look like Im alive.

Got a full size of this at a Barney's bag event. I've been into lipsticks lately instead of glosses, so I was glad to get this to try. Very pretty colour for my colouring (pale, with dark hair and blue eyes). My lips are pretty pigmented, and on me this looks like my lips with a bit of punch; I definitely look like I'm wearing lipstick, but not an obvious, dramatic colour. It's an easy to wear colour for me - I don't feel like I need to mess about with lip liner - I can just throw it on. Unfortunately, it did dry out my lips (although to be honest my lips are dry in general). I find that my lips are noticeably drier - on occasion even painfully dry -- when I wear this. I'm really disappointed since it is so pretty!

I got this as a gift and I was thrilled with the product! It's sheer, but more pigmented than Medieval. It's a good color for most complexions; I'm pretty tan and it's a nice sheer neutral. Love the packaging, consistency, but the staying power is lacking, but that's expected for something as sheer as this. Try it if you get the chance!

Fantastic color for blue eyes.
Very soft, satin finish. Not drying at all.
Color lasts after the finish wears off.

I am a cool-toned PPP (NW10 in MAC terms), and this lipstick is perfect for me. I agree with the assessment that this lipstick might not work for all. But I am pale with pink undertones and dark blonde hair and gray eyes, and this lipstick does do as advertised for me. It brightens up my face. It provides a really polished look that works really well for my coloring.

It also has a lovely texture -- it's not drying like lipsticks can be. It's very suitable for work. I'm not a big denim wearer, so I actually don't wear it with jeans often. I wear it to work A LOT. It looks professional, feels good on my lips, and has decent staying power. I will definitely be buying a tube for my home in addition to the one I always carry in my purse.

I ordered this, Medieval lip stain, and Rose Sinner (one of the 90% pigment lipsticks), and this lipstick is the best of the three for my cool-toned PPP coloring. I'm glad I have Medieval (but I won't get a backup) and Rose Sinner might be very nice for night time (it's TOO pigmented for work), but Jean Queen in my go to lipstick. I can't mess it up or go wrong with it. It just looks good and brightens me up. It's a really good shade for my coloring.

I've been impressed with Poppy and Lipstick Queen, and I recommend checking out her shades. She makes some great lipsticks. And her lipsticks, while more expensive than MAC, are cheaper than most HE lipsticks. And they look and wear like a HE lipstick. I learned about Poppy/Lipstick Queen from a UK MUAer posting pictures of the UK version of this brand (I can't remember the name), which led me to try and find where I could get the lipstick she posted and I found this for U.S. buyers. I'm thankful to MUA for turning me on to these lipsticks.
