I have very fine, medium thickness hair, that has a natrual wave to it, but I generally wear it blown straight. My hair doesn't hold curl very well, and I really wanted to try the big-wavy styles that many celebrities are wearing lately. So I tried using my old curling iron- and it basically fell out within 2 hours. :(. I saw this iron at Target for $17.99 and decided to give it a whirl. The package claims that curls will last "up to 16 hours"..I was very skeptical...but to my surprise this iron delivered on it's promise. I curled all of my hair in large ringlets and sprayed with hairspray. The curls stayed in all day (about 10 hours). I got alot of compliments on my new style :o). This iron gets very hot and stays hot- so i would rec. using a heat protectant, and the curls turned out super shiny- no damage here! Thanks Revlon! this is truly a salon-quality tool.
