This richly scented body cream is fairly true to the original fragrance, but the rose note comes through more strongly than the iris and sandalwood. As a body care product, it is a superb moisturiser. A tiny quantity goes a very long way, and leaves the skin beautifully smooth and soft without any oiliness. It is considerably better in this respect than many unscented 'treatment' products I've tried. The scent is a to die for warm rose and incredibly long-lasting. I was recently asked what my 'beautiful rose perfume' was a full 10 hours after applying this with no additional scented products on top. The plastic tube packaging strikes me as somewhat cheap, but on the other hand, it is far more practical than a fancy jar. If you like the Heure Exquise scent, this is a must-have. And if you don't, try this product in one of Goutal's other fragrances. If they're anything like the quality of this, you will not be disappointed.
