Great product for a great price! All other eye makeup removers have irritated my super sensitive eyes, so I've stuck with Clarins at $26.50 a pop! That seemed to be the only product I could use. I happened to find out about the Lumene skincare line when I googled "eye makeup remover for sensitive eyes". I purchased it at CVS. It was buy one and get an additional bottle at 75% off! What a deal! I highly recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive eyes and is looking to spend alot less on an eye makeup remover.

This is the best remover ive ever tried. It works perfectly for waterproof makeup. Removes my waterproof mascara in one swipe. The downside is that its kinda pricey for the amount you get. I only use this when I have waterproof makeup on or alot of eyeshadow/liner. And I use my bioderma for everyday. Will def repurchase. Ive recommended this to all of my friends

Hands down the best makeup remover I have found! This removes all my makeup in just a couple swipes with a cotton pad.. including waterproof mascaras. I don't feel the need to rub my eyes or let it rest over my eyes to dissolve waterproof makeup -- I can just gently wipe a couple times.
Very light greasy residue that easily removes with my facewash.
Found at ULTA.

I plan on returning this to CVS. I must have really sensitive eyes because this burned like the dickens. I am surprised by all the positive reviews. I think I'll have to try Chanel.

This makeup remover is AWESOME. Many other makeup removers I've tried in the past would sting my eyes and take a couple too many tries to get the gel-liner I use on my eyes and mascara off.
I tried this product and loved it the first time I used it. It's really gentle and although it's kind of oily, it does the job and I get off all my eyeshadow, liner, and mascara in only a few swipes. After I'm done removing my makeup I wash my face with water and a light cleanser that gets any remaining makeup residue or anything left over off and I've done!
What I find astounding is that I work long days at work, and I wear what I'd consider maybe slightly more than average eye makeup. Due to the fact that I work long days I wear gel eyeliner because regular pencil liners always smudge, and I always have to have a base going from my eyelids to my brows if I want any eyeshadow to stick and not end up with major fallout or awkward creases by the last few hours of my workday. Regardless, this still does a gentle and awesome job! Love this stuff. I will definitely repurchase.

HG! I started using this about six months ago. I have always just used plain old baby oil to take off my eye makeup. Every product that I tried that was specified as an eye makeup remover tends to burn my eyes, and I don't have sensitive eyes. Another product that was good was the L'oreal Clean Artiste. I tried this because it had extra bucks at CVS, and now I won't be without it. What I do is take the stopper off the top (it comes off easily) then I just dip two Q tips in~ one is good for each eye- just swipe downward and upward to take off mascara and then I just run a tissue over my eyes and my eyeshadow comes off. I find this wastes less product, and also wastes less cotton rounds.

I first found this product at CVS while it was on sale ($7-8, I think?) with ECBs back AND I had a coupon. All in all it ended up near free, but I would probably repurchase even if I had to pay full price -- and for me, that's saying something. I find it removes my waterproof mascara pretty easily. Also, it doesn't sting or mess up my contacts, and it feels nourishing to my skin. The only problem I have with this is that *sometimes,* like when I've done a really dramatic look like lots of smudgy eyeliner, it'll take a few more swipes to get it all off. Still, if it'll just a smidgen of eye shadow and liner, then mascara, this'll do the job in just one swipe!

THEEEE BEST waterproof eye makeup remover!!!
it works really well, not as oily as you think it'd be, no scrubbing needed!
it takes EVERYTHING off, so you never have that leftover eye makeup smudging down your eyes in the morning.
i will def buy again! its worth the 11 bucks at cvs to not have to worry about all your waterproof eyeliner or mascara not coming off!

I didn't think I would ever have an HG eye makeup remover, but this is it!! Takes off all my eye makeup and any long-lasting lip color that I can't wash off. Nice packaging as well. It doesn't spill in my bag. Just make sure you shake the bottle first!

This product is really easy to use. You shake the bottle to mix the two liquids and pour the liquid out through a small hole at the top of the bottle. The bottle itself is nice to look at too.
The eye makeup remover works well, but I didn't expect it to be so oily. But don't worry too much about that. It doesn't stay really oily for long, just in the initial few seconds. What you can do is swipe off your eye makeup with this and then just wash your face, and it'll be fine.
Sometimes I'll notice that after I'm done washing my face, when I tilt my head up and look in the mirror, I have a few black streaks coming down from my eyes that I guess the eye makeup remover didn't get off. It may just be that I have to wipe my eyes more thoroughly with the product though.
It's gentle and I can use it with my contacts, so that's a plus. It's not absolutely fantastic, but it works well enough to where I would repurchase it.

I've been a devout, long-time user of cold-cream to remove everything at the end of the day (followed by a gentle cleanser, of course); however, just lately my eyes have become SO sensitive to just about everything, that I'm switching things up to see if the situation improves.
For this reason, I used my CVS "extra bucks" to purchase this remover, and it is awesome! It is SO gentle and so effective, leaving my eye area feeling hydrated and soothed, and no blurry vision afterward!
If you're tired of tugging at your eyes to remove waterproof products, or tired of the blurred vision that occurs with most oil-based removers, give this one a chance. It is inexpensive, and works beautifully.

After trying and throwing away the maybelline waterproof makeup remover, and the loreal eye makeup romover, I bought this makeup remover and I LOVE THIS!!! All it takes is one swipe with a cotton pad. I do not need to tug to get my eye makeup off. It is not too oily it reminds me of the lacome one but less expensive!! I think this is my HG makeup remover...

The most effective yet gentle water proof mascara/eye make-up remover among ALL drugstore brands. PERIOD. I am a contact lenses wearer and this product does not leave any oily residue on my contacts or in my eyes. It is inexpensive as well and the packaging is nice. Hurray!

I love this product! I use to use the Clinique Take the day off - one, but this is as good as that one. And the Clinique one costs like 3 times more.
Will repurchase again and again :)

This is so far the best eye makeup remover ive used. I prefer liquid eye removers to the pad ones because it takes off my waterproof eye makeup better and faster. I have purchased the pad ones before and i have to rub my eyes over and over again to get half the makeup off. This remover i got on sale and it does a great job taking everything over which just a swipe of a cotton pad. However i do not like the dispenser cause its a bit of a hassle to get the product out. The opening is small so i cant get much out. But overall i like it. I'm open to new options but i will definitely keep this product in mind and will repurchase it if i do not find something better.

I have no idea how many bottles of this I've gone through. I mostly buy at CVS but today I found some at Ulta, so yay. I applied the $5 off $10 purchase and got 2 bottles for $7 plus tax . .. so less than $4 a piece!
All that to say, you've got to be kidding me if I'm going to spend over $22 for Bi-facil!
I like Bi-facil but my absolute favorite is Mary Kay (Although it might just be rose colored memories at this point it's been so long since I've used it .. . ) I've tried Neutrogena's dual phase (hated it) and L'Oreal's (total waste of time) and Almay (fail) and Olay Regenrist (not awesome) and Estee Lauder Gentle (as useless as L'Oreal's) and Bobbi Brown (Okay but kinda sting-y)
Lumene isn't the best but it is the best value.
Edit: 4/23/11
I just received as a gift the bi-facil and in a side by side comparison.: The 2 are NOT the same. The Lumene performed BETTER than Lancome! Really truly. I can't wait til I'm done with the Lancome so that I can go back to Lumene!

Bought this at cvs and it was around $6 which is not a bad price since this works really well. Before I heard of makeup removers, I used to use baby lotion to remove my eye makeup. It worked...only if I wore eyeshadow. I was watching a video on youtube and this caught my eye, this really does remove waterproof mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, everything! The top is small enough so that not too much product is dispensed, I pour this out on a cotton pad and let it soak my eye for a few seconds. I wipe away any extra and behold a clean naked eye. Reason I gave it a 4 is because sometimes, if I have somewhat "a lot" of eye makeup on it does tend to smear the makeup around my eye so you have to be careful. Also, I find that it doesn't get everything all the time. Since I remove my makeup before I shower, when I step out sometimes I find that I have smudges underneath my eyes from the makeup so just be sure to get everything off. But other than that this product works wonderfully, I have a little less than 1/4 of the bottle left and I will plan on repurchasing this soon.

I love everything about this makeup remover. I'm so glad I stumbled on this. It removes everything so easily and you only have to use a little bit. I also like the top of it, not too little and not too much product comes out when using. This will last you forever! :)

I got this by chance. Well I was looking for something else, but couldn't find it and I found this one on sale. I thought I'd give it a try...and I'm hooked! I've been putting on all sorts of random makeup with all those hard-to-come-off mascaras and this product still manage to get them all off! I'm impressed.
This is also the first product that doesn't burn my eyes! It's really gentle yet effective. Some people are bothered by the greasy residue it leaves after, but that kind of absorb into my skin 5 minutes after and my skin doesn't feel greasy at all. If anything, it's gone matte with subtle glow that I wish my skin looks like this after I put on makeup! Maybe it's just my dry skin drenching moisture up or something, but I love it! (of course, you have to rinse your face after with the usual cleanser)
I actually like the bottle with just a simple hole that lets the product out in limited amount. I find that you don't waste a lot of product as opposed to regular bottle/container which allows the product to flow freely. Anyway, I'm just in love with this thing. Bye bye red face after rubbing for a long time after makeup removing!

This stuff is really great, and I got mine from CVS for 6.89 although it is 6 dollars at Sears - this was my first time trying so I picked CVS since Sears has a no return policy on open makeup.
Anyway, I like the bottle. It is blue and pretty and does not leak. The hole is also small so not too much product gets out - this is great for clumsy people. I've spilled my clinique many times, losing at least half of the bottle to the sink - and that stuff is expensive!!!!! I do believe this product works just as well, if not better than Clinique's waterproof remover. It feels.. almost the same - in fact if someone filled up a clinique bottle with some Lumene, I wouldn't notice the difference.
And I wear a full blown smokey eye every day..
