I first bought this for $3 during a budget pinch to replace my mom's Japonesque blush brush. While not nearly as soft, it does the job (in fact, many jobs) perfectly well! Its paddle shape is so versatile: you can use it splayed at an angle for contouring, horizontally flat to lightly tap blush on the apples of the cheeks, the tip for highlighting, flat again but vertically for dusting powder under the eyes, etc. Recently, while on hunt for a blush brush for me, I ended up getting this too, after considering much pricier options. It was $4 this time, but it's still worth it. Took off a lippie because using it isn't a soft, luxurious experience. Given how functional it is and how well it performs, however, I'm very happy to stick with this until the day comes when I can splurge on a fancy brush.
