Two-Way Foundation SPF20 PA++

I've been using this since forever, to be exact, 15 years. I started using this during teenage years and loved how it's not cakey, buildable and finishes off smooth. It is impressive considering it is a drugstore brand and really cheap compared to big brands out there. I've tried estee lauder double wear, mac matchmaster, lancome, laneige, maybelline, cc and bb creams and all of these doesn't even come close to ZA's 2 way cake. I found myself always come back to this. Love this product! The only downside is that it oxidises a little in hot weather, but I can totally deal with it. Blot the skin and touch up, it'll do the trick.

Its a decent powder foundation that can help to somewhat control my oiliness! Since I don't use liquid foundation, I usually just buff this all over my face and it looks rather even, with a medium coverage. On days that I am lazy, I would only apply concealer and use this powder as a setting powder. It increases the coverage and sets the concealer really well. I use a sponge or brush to apply this powder, depending on my mood. However, if i scratch my face when oil starts to seek through, the powder does clump and look a little cakey. The packaging is also quite chunky even though it is pretty. However, I would still repurchase as the shades really match me well.

I used to avoid stick foundations as i tried one from revlon( from their colorstay line) years back and it made me turn into an oily mess in hours. Years later, having forgotten my bad encounter, I bought the ZA one on a whim, and I am happy I chose this over the cream version. (1) Super easy and fast to apply , swipe and use a beauty blender, sunscreen and foundation is done (2) beautiful medium coverage and texture with a cream to powder finish, blurs out everything (3) not oily ! That is so important to me as I have combination skin. For Super oily skin, I think this is still a no go (4) easier to control compared to liquid foundations that I have, so I can control its coverage . (5) no acne outbreak despite the fact that this is less hygienic compared to a pump
