PROS: - Easy to find (available at Target) - Decently priced (About $7) - Vegan, cruelty free, dye free, paraben free, silicone free - Decent ingredients. Not completely natural but it is mostly plant oils. - Claims to be ethically and sustainably sourced for at least some ingredients - Smells nice (IMO) CONS: - Uses a vague "fragrance" that likely is not natural and may be irritating to some with a sensitive nose -Packaging is mostly recyclable plastic but not the best eco friendly option I am a lover of oils for skin and hair, and was looking for something new to try. I regularly oil my scalp with my own oil mixture to promote hair growth but I wanted something a little different, something lighter I could use if my hair was feeling dry. I got this and used a few pumps all through my hair (I have very long hair so I use more product than most) and massaged into my scalp, left in overnight and washed in the morning. I figured this would give me a good idea of how well it worked. Well my hair is super soft today, so I am quite impressed. I also like the smell. It's light, sweet, a little fruity. My husband has a very sensitive nose and he liked it as well, so it's not overpowering.
