Nail Polish: Mythicals Collection - Excalibur Renaissance

Excalibur Renaissance is a re-issue of the original Excalibur, from the Mythical collection. It's a silver, foil polish. It is fully opaque in one coat. Due to the foil finish, it does leave the brushstrokes (you might want to try putting minimal pressure on the brush, which will reduce those). Silver foil is not something that looks good with my skin tone, for that reason I wouldn't repurchase. However, due to high pigmentation this polish will work well to stamp with, so I am likely to use this bottle up.

Ascalon was a part of The Legends collection, which came out around 2012. It might be discontinued now, but it is still widely available online. It's a gunmetal shimmer polish with a purple shift. The formula is great, which is the case with majority of my A-England polishes - it is easy to apply and 2 coats gives perfect coverage. It is quick drying and it lasted really well on me. I liked this polish, but I am now wowed by it in the same way that I am by my other polishes by this brand. The shift is rather subtle and only shows in certain lighting. I am impressed with the formula, but not the colour combination.

Guinevere came out in January 2011 as a part of Mythical Collection. I would call it a heather, cream polish (lilac with a hint of grey). The formula is great - I used 2 coats. It dried fast to a glossy finish and I had no problem with wearing time. I loved wearing this polish. A England is one of my favourite brands and this polish has just reinforced that feeling.
