Finally! I found a concealer that works for me. This is HG (for now). The color is more pink/salmon so it corrects dark circles. The consistency is very creamy and soft therefore easy to blend. You only need a dab. The coverage is great...not wimpy or too sheer. It lasts 6-8 hours. Minimal creasing! That was my biggest problem with all other concealers, they settled into lines within 10 minutes. Erase paste does not so I am beyond thrilled.
my only gripe is the price and amount of product you get for that inflated price.
I have tried........EVERYTHING...to cover my dark under-eye circles. Nothing worked.
Just today, I went into ULTA and attempted to try just one more. I gasped in astonishment as I sampled Erase Paste in Fair. My circles were gone. I bought it immediately. It is worth every single penny.
Ladies, if you aren't sure - go to ULTA or Sephora and try it. Unbelievable. I'll never be without it again.
THANK YOU, BENEFIT!
I ordered this product online and waited nervously for it to arrive. I was a bit concerned because I had read many reviews that said it was very pink, and I have SO much trouble finding bases that work with my skin tone. I'm very pale - have to buy the lightest shade available in foundations, but often still have trouble matching my skin tone - for example with Dior foundations of the two palest shades, one is too yellow and the other too pink. I've NEVER found a concealer that matches my skin tone. So my erase paste arrived today, I eagerly tore it open and ran off to experiment. It's perfect! not pink at all! nice and brightening for under eye circles, and works beautifully as a subtle highlighter (I hate most highlighters because most are so damn sparkly and look ridiculous in natural light) lovely light consistency, not thick and sticky like many other concealers I've encountered. On the down side, you need to have pretty good skin to use it...I have good skin except for a couple of little patches of occasional dryness and some large pores/tiny blackheads on my chin. both of which became extremely obvious with erase paste applied. So if you have VERY pale, relatively flawless skin, and just want something to even out dark circles or redness, you will love this product!
I purchased this product to cover a scar (it's thick and offers opaque coverage, FAR superior to the DermaBlend colors I tried) but it's worked really well for the redness from my rosacea, pimples and dark circles. It has this weird peachy undertone that covers everything.
HG concealer. Will definitely repurchase.
This concealer is a great shade for cancelling out the discoloration associated with undereye shadows. The light salmon shade works for a lot of skin tones without leaving a pale halo on your eye socket.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of slip agents in this product. It probably works best on normal to dry skin with few wrinkles...which is a pretty small demographic, if you think about it. I find that just a dab of this stuff will end up in any creases around the eye in few hours, even if set with powder. Also, this product just seems to 'disappear' after a few hours on my oily skin. It literally seems to thin out with skin oils and migrate away from it's intended place, leaving my dark circles looking worse than ever about 6-8 hours after application.
This concealer works well when I'm going out for the evening or for touch-ups, but it doesn't make it through a full work day. Because of this, I feel like this concealer is too expensive for something that isn't usable 24/7. I would recommend getting a sample and trying this concealer before buying.
Pretty decent concealer. I'm used to using Mac concealers but i find they're usually too orange for me.
I will never use another concealer under my eyes again! I could be hungover, with the flu and a black eye and erase paste literally erases all of that!!!! All I have to say is a little goes a long way so get a good concealer brush and party hardy girls!!!
Great product! A little trick for those who find it too pink - mix a tiny bit with your foundation to better match the color and voila! Or, you can even add a tiny amount of white or light yellow eye cream. And for those that find it too dry, make sure you moisturize before applying any concealor or foundation... EP is pretty thick and goes a long way - you only need about hald the size of a grain of rice! I never used the little spatula that comes with it - I threw it away, using your finger works fine but when you get to the end of the container you may wish you had that little spatula! I'd definitely buy this again!
Erase Paste has always worked really well for me: It conceals AND brightens my eye area. It is opaque enough to conceal effectively, yet creamy enough to blend without settling into fine lines or creasing. It is also highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. It lasts for ages!
My skin is dry, and it works well for me, but I can understand why those with oily skin types may not like it (it's likely too heavy and/or has the tendency to slide off). While Erase Paste is perfect on my under eye circles and discoloration, I have also used it on my face. "Fair" is perfect for my skin (NW5-10, NARS Siberia) -- I think it even has a hint of pink in it.
Works wonders on my undereye circles. Takes just a tiny bit to cover and stays all day long.
