Brows -benefit Cosmetics -Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil

on 12/18/2018 2:37:00 PM

This brow pencil is amazing. I have almost black brow hairs and I use number 6. It matches my brow hairs perfectly. It never smudges on me, and lasts the entire day. The formula isn't too creamy or heavy, it is actually quite light but pigmented when applied. I feel that this brow pencil is better than the ABH one I was using beforehand. The physical pencil portion is nice and thin, allowing me to fill in sparse areas of my brows very easily and naturally. I have bought this pencil twice now because of how much I love it. I would definitely recommend.

Mascara -benefit Cosmetics -They're Real Lengthening Mascara

on 12/18/2018 6:29:00 AM

Had 2 deluxe samples of this now and l’m still under-impressed. Packaging - why does the writing rub off on a ‘high-end’ product? What a mess. No scent. I’m not a fan of the plastic/silicone? brush and it’s often clump city with flaking too. But it does hold my lashes practically vertically up all day, and makes them look long, dark and thicker. So, it is capable of a great look, but is too unreliable to use in a hurry or for important events, as if it goes wrong it’s very hard to correct. Removal is tough too. For the same price there are better options.

Lips -benefit Cosmetics -benebalm - Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm

on 12/16/2018 9:15:00 PM

I really like these lip balms - this shade as well as cha cha balm are simply beautiful! I love that they are a good "in between" with a lot of color like a lipstick, but definitely applies like a balm. They aren't drying but not very hydrating either. Most of the time I'm able to use this on its own and it gives just enough moisture. They've taken me a long time to use up, but I don't use these everyday. This shade in particular I only use for special occasions but the cha cha balm is the perfect pink shade for me to wear more often. I wouldn't recommend this for staying power, it's pretty average as far as long lasting but I personally don't mind too much. It's quick to reapply and easy to throw in your bag. I sometimes use the top of the cap as a small mirror just to ensure I put the color on evenly, but it's not really needed like you would with a lipstick.

I think they are fairly expensive for what they are, and believe there's probably some decent drugstore dupes out there. However, I'd be tempted to repurchase if these came in a holiday set or some other promotion. I have tried many different products out there and so far I've found these to be in a league of their own in terms of pigment and consistency.

Mascara -benefit Cosmetics -BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara

This looks BEAUTIFUL for about 20 minutes. When it comes to making lousy eyeslashes look great, this is a winner. The problem is, it smudges worse than any mascara I've ever used (and I've used a LOT of mascaras). I will apply this, get dressed, get in the car, look in the rearview mirror, and see black smudges halfway down my cheeks. I've been applying this on my top lashes only, but it still smudges beneath my eyes (How...I don't know). At first I thought the smudge problem was because of foundation or concealer that was too oily, but the smudging happens even when I use mineral powder foundation. I can get the exact same beautiful, smudgy lashes from Great Lash Mascara and save $21.00. This is definitely not worth the cost.

Mascara -benefit Cosmetics -Roller Lash Mascara

I always thought this mascara was too overrated/had too much hype around it. However, this is my opinion after finally trying it: Pros: - No flaking - No smudging (one of the ONLY mascaras that doesn't smudge on me, which is a big big big deal) - holds the curl the whole day - has really nice lengthening - separates my lashes really well - doesn't dry my lashes whatsoever - easy to remove Cons: - average/low volume - it kinda irritates my eyes on the first 30 minutes of wear as it makes them feel heavy and tired (?) but after those 30 minutes the sensation is gone Overall, I really liked this mascara as volume is not a priority for me and I can deal with the "irritation" pretty well. The thing that always goes wrong with every mascaras I try is the smudging and since I didn't experience it with this one at all, I will be repurchasing it!
