The packaging is awful. So awful. If you let the pen sit upright, the ink will leak out. It's so weird and gross at the same time.
The colour is kind of funky too. I was expecting a black eyeliner, but got a grey one instead. Not happy about that.
The staying power is mediocre. I have oilier eye lids, so that might be the reason that it doesn't work that well. Still, it's not the best eyeliner.
Won't buy again.
I love this eye-liner. Other liquid liners that I've tried have been thick and difficult to apply. The felt-tip makes it super easy to get a nice, clean line.
I wish the product lasted longer, though. After a month or so it's pretty much used up and the color is really faded. I like the black and brown. The grey shade was disappointing, the color was barely there.

I like the felt tip applicator, but the color dries out very quickly in the tube. I discovered that by running the tip under hot water for a few seconds the color returns.

Eh... When I first cracked this open and used it, I thought maybe I was head over heels in love. I bought black/brown and that color is *perfect* for me, but it's hard to find eye makeup in black/brown. It's usually either one or the other. Black is too harsh for my complexion and brown usually isn't dark enough. So I was really happy when I stumbled on this liner in the black/brown HG shade.
Then, the love affair started it's downhill slide. This liner does take literally forever to dry. DO NOT SNEEZE within like, 10 minutes of application.
Have you ever painted something (like say a wall) and the first coat wasn't dry enough when you put the second coat on and you ended up taking off the first coat in the process? That's what happens with this liner. You do a stroke of it, it looks good, so you want to go back over it, maybe thicken it a little? Don't. You can't. You'll ruin your first line and be frustrated. Then all you have is a mess. However, you will have all the time in the world to fix mistakes though.
I've stored this upside down, on it's cap, flipped over the other way, on it's side... I can't figure out why it's dried out after less than a week. Points for the short tube, it's really easy to control & you do get a nicely shaped line. continued >>
I have this in black and in smoke. The smoke color is NOT grey (as the packaging makes it appear), it goes on quite blue-green, almost teal.
The formula is a bit watery and takes a minute to dry. I usually put dark shadow on top to "seal" it on to the lid. Sometimes if I draw a wing it will rub off by the end of the day because I have watery eyes. But overall it lasts ok.
I like the packaging more than the product itself. The small size is very convenient to keep in a purse and I like that it's short enough that I can get really close to a mirror while applying. I haven't had problems with it drying out (I store it on its side and cap it tightly). The felt tip is soft and flexible and allows for a very fine line.
For $6 it's not bad. Walgreens usually has buy 1 get one 50% off for Covergirl cosmetics, so if you have another CG product to pick up you can get this one pretty cheaply.

This is the best liquid eyeliner I have tried. I have bought a million in the past, but keep ending up back with this one. The color is intense and it's relatively easy to use. I just found out it is made by Procter & Gamble though, so I am having a moral dilemma and don't know if I will buy again : ( I don't want to support an awful company like them. continued >>

This separates and I cant get the color on....its not dried out but maybe i will try washing the tip like others have suggested. I do like the packaging though .
I hate the packaging, it gets leaky but storing it upright solves this. I have never had a problem with this drying out like other reviewers though. I like the felt tip but my favorite part of this product is the Brown shade. it's a really pretty medium taupe/brown liner which is really unique. it's light and subtle for every day and the cool toned brown really works for me. it lasts plenty long enough on my eyelids with little prep prior to application. I apply concealer, dust a light layer of powder over my face (and over my eyelids), swoop on some bronzer, apply this, and finish with a coat of mascara and some ChapStick and im ready to go in no time at all.
I really like this product so far. Bought it in a smoke. It is easy to apply and easy to control and since it isn't waterproof, easy to "correct" once applied and doesn't clump. Since this is a felt-tip pen, the word is not yet out on how the tip will last. Usually those things get frayed and/or dry out in a week tops. So I will have to post again after I've used this a couple more times.
The only negative is that the smoke color was actually more of a slate grey that has a greenish tint.
