I was stricken with nostalgia upon first smelling this fragrance. Perhaps I was exposed to some exceptional ylang-ylang perfumes in my youth, but I never knew their names. I was taken back by the heavy, sweet, creamy, fruity, boozy fullness of Coralle. This is delicious, heady, and intoxicating. It touches a chord of satisfaction in me. Coralle smells like a mysterious liquid that I would drink, which would cause me to become drunk and euphoric, a spoonful of elixer from a brown glass bottle, or a brandy snifter full of sweet, fragrant, golden, red liquid.

On my skin, Coralle is a sweet, fruity, boozy cocktail. It is sunny and happy and it seems like something that one should wear while sipping margaritas on a patio in the tropics. The ylang ylang is very prominent, but the grapefruit, bourbon, amber, vanilla and vetiver are all evident as well. It's a bit too fruity for my taste, but like all of Ayala's creations, Coralle is well composed. I will very likely save my sample for that day that I happen to be sipping margaritas in the tropics.

Coralle is a bright, stunning scent of ylang intertwining with grapefruit, clementine, amber, vanilla and vetiver. It is not sweet or coying but fresh and sunny. Coralle is a beautiful scent that does remind my of viberent coral and tropical fish swimming around you as you gaze peacefully. Definatly FBW when I make my next purchase.
