I purchased several samples of Ayala Moriel fragrances recently & this was a standout from the bunch. It's definitely a gourmand, with powdered rose and a hint of what my nose detects as coconut-although coconut is not mentioned in the description (it's probably the amber). Good sillage and lasting power on my skin (which normally soaks fragrances up pretty quickly). Sadly I spilled my sample all over a nightgown a few days ago but wow does the nightgown smell good now. May be FBW unless I can talk myself out of this one over the next few weeks. continued >>

Cabaret recalls for me some of the attars I tried in Yemen that can’t be found here in North America for love or money. It has a very Eastern richness and beauty, different from European perfumery. It’s youthful without being foolish, rosy without being floral, sweet without being cloying. It’s seriously feminine. The amber is delicious and almost edible. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last as long as I would like. With my limited budget, I don’t think I would purchase this, but only because there are other perfumes by Ayala Moriel that I crave more.

Tasty, light rose and powdery heart on a mild, sweet base. Enjoyable but quickly overpowered by my skin. I need a stronger concentration.
