This, I gotta have again once my other fragrances are done. Totally one of my favorites. I tend to be nostalgic with perfumes, and this one seems to top it all since I already finished 2 bottles (I don't normally use the same perfume consecutively). It lasted for a year or so and I forgot about it for quite some time, but I'd love to have one again. I'm not good in describing scents, but it's definitely a yes for me for everyday use.

I don't know what it is about all EL fragrances, but they are way too generic for me. Strong, and generic. I sprayed this once on me, and i had to wash it off immediately, as I knew I would soon have a terrible headache if i didn't.

I loved Pleasures the minute it came out in 1995. However, as at least one other reviewer mentioned, I have noticed that this perfume goes bad fairly quickly. I have other perfumes that have lasted almost 20 years without going bad, even though I know that one should not hold on to old perfume. I may purchase it again, but in much smaller bottles. I like to rotate perfumes and have many of them, so having one that goes bad fairly quickly is so disappointing to me.

I wore this years ago when I all I wore were EL fragrances. I started out with White Linen, my signature scent for years. Then moved on to Beautiful, Knowing, and then Pleasures. The other day, a patient sat down in my dental chair and I immediately recognized her scent. "You're wearing, Pleasures, right?" Yes, she said, impressed. (I wish they had a game show, Name That Scent, I would be a contender.) Anyway, she reminded me why I haven't worn this fragrance in many years: it's too much. Despite it's obvious popularity and half a dozen hybrids (Delight, Intense, Exotic, etc), this stuff is bound to get you noticed. I know that's the point of wearing fragrance, but in this case, it's too much of a good thing. I say steer clear of this one because you are bound to offend. Perhaps the new "eau fraiche" version will offer a toned down alternative that we can all live with..

I got this as a sample at the Estee Lauder counter. The sample was so conveniently packaged to carry around in my purse and I loved the smell. I'm a big fan of floral perfumes and this encapsulated everything I love in perfume. Will buy a bottle at my next visit to the Duty Free!

Pleasures is a classy, beautiful and joyful crisp clean floral. i loved it from the first sniff back in 1995 and it was the only fragrance i had and wanted, it used to get me many compliments. then, one day a co-worker with whom i shared the office asked me what i was wearing and naively i told her, she showed up the next morning wearing MY beloved Pleasures. well, for me wearing the same fragrance as another woman in the room is like wearing the same outfit ( to my delight no one ever complimented her,ba ha ha. to steal awomans scent right under her nose and without any premission is a BIG no no); so, sadly for a few years i avoided pleasures but always enjoyed catching wafts of it here and there. normally i never go back and rebuy a perfume once it's finished but for the sake of nostalgia i bought a botlle because somehow i just can't be without it. to me Pleasures is a must have fragrance, suitable for every age, occasion or season.

Inoffensive but boring, 1-dimensional sheer floral. I feel it lacks personality or taste - I would consider it a good bland scent for a teen to keep them sweet and fresh for after sports. If you can justify paying through the nose when there are much cheaper scents around that smell as good! I don't find it a "work suitable" fragrance. Because it smells like diluted "air freshener" it gives me the feeling that the wearer has constantly just arrived back from a heavy duty bathroom break and had used the air freshener can. I once had a work colleague who wore "Pleasures" and it constantly gave me the impression she was either slacking off in the bathroom all the time or had really bad bowel issues! Dropped a lippy because there is a faint sourness that intensifies when it goes off. Which it does far more quickly than any of my other regular perfumes (smells of faintly of urine, increasing the "bathroom freshener" appeal). Keep in a dark drawer for sure.

I got a small bottle from somewhere, so I put this on today. I am with the people who find this horrible! It is nauseating to me. I couldn't wait to wash it off. I threw the bottle out.

I note that it has Patchouli in it. That must be what makes it repulsive to me.
