    I really did not see what the big deal was about Valentino Gold. It had an overall generic "sweet perfumey" smell that was utterly unremarkable. At the beginnning I think I may have caught a hint...

    I tried it few years ago because I heard good things about it. But I didn't like it; from the first moment I got only a synthetic, too strong sweetness from it.
