I have dry/mature/rosacea skin and I love this mask. I don't understand the comments about the smell. It smells aromatic and refreshing.
I should use it more often than I do because every time I do use it, my skin looks and feels great. I use it during mild rosacea flare ups and it brings the burning, redness and bumps down immediately.
The big downside is that it sucks the moisture out of my skin. It has kaolin clay which explains it but why? I have combo/dry skin and I don't need a product that's used to draw oil out of the skin.

I am so surprised that I really like this product. When I can't sleep or wake up really early I apply this and go back to reading in bed. When I get up this showers off and my skin is less red and smoother. I leave it on longer than 20 minutes too.

IMy friend uses the anti redness kit and i tried the control cream and was amazed. So I tried this stuff on a few pimples I had and it shrunk them. So I was like ok im gonna go by this stuff. The anti redness kit is cheaper than purchaseing the calma mask and contro cream seperatly. I used the mask all over my face then went to wash it off and it was hard to wash off. It was like it wasnt all coming off. Filmy/greasy like or something. I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed and something wass still on my face. My face did feel soft but it felt coated with something. I will only use this as a spot treatment not all over.

Smells horrible! It even smells after you rinse it. And worst, it still smells after rinsing, toning and moisturizing. This mask makes my skin tingles when I apply it. Don't know if it's normal, but it felt uneasy on my skin.

I got this as part of the rosacea kit. I like many of the MB products but for a mask that is supposed to calm redness, it is a little difficult to remove...which causes more redness. I think the less rubbing of rosacea skin, the better. It's okay but it isn't making any difference and I have been using it for several months.

I like this very much. I think it's similar in ingredients to the healing and soothing mask, which I adore. Great as a spot treatment overnight, or just to relax. Thumbs up!

i know it doesnt smell like roses, but you know what - perfumed stuff irritates my skin! this stuff doesnt smell *that* bad, in fact, once you apply, you dont even notice really - perhaps the other reviewer had an expired batch or something. anyhow, it works wonders and leaves my skin feeling silky and refreshed. amazing stuff!!!!

I'm really disappointed in this product. My first impression was of the horrible cigarette smell it imparted, but once I got over that (though I didn't, really), I had to deal with the irritation left on my skin after I'd washed this off. I understand it's meant for sensitive, troubled skin - which mine certainly is - but this didn't do a thing except make me feel sick to my stomach! I was left with a couple of bright red splotches. The smell really is impossible to get over, though. I can't believe MB has the gall to even sell this, it's so atrocious.

it leaves a greasy film over your face even after you wash it off twice.

straightaway after washing it off, my face broke out.
there were 2 red spots on my nose and above my eyebrow!
avoid at all costs!

Really good for rosacea..however, after reading the raves for MB healing cream, that has jumped to the top of my next order. I'm a true MB junkie...having spent zillions of $$$$ on products that don't work any better than these. Big fan of all the MB masks I've tried, especially the rolling peel!! :>) continued >>

This mask is ultra-soothing and calming. It's a calamine based treatment that effectively calms down redness and irritation. If your skin is massively irritated or you've had an allergic reaction to something -- this mask will really help. I take it with me when I travel in case my skin breaks out, becomes dry, or reacts to something. This mask treats it all. It's also helpful for rosacea breakouts.
