I love the texture of these products. They glide on easily, but still have enough pigment to make them look more like a lipstick than a gloss. I have Bare Mocha, which is an ugly brownish shade in the pachage, but goes on a gorgeous mocha berry.

I tried Bare Nude, and felt that it was just too brown for my coloring - it made me look very washed out. I later tried Bare Berry, which was way more red than berry. The pigmentation and color is ok. Overall, I much preferred Aveda & Almay's Lip Tints to Stila's. continued >>

I always wanted a Stila lip color, but this one, bare berry, was way too bright on me. I thought it was a lot more like a lipstick, not much like a sheer stain. I almost feel like I bought a different product from the one everyone has been reviewing and saying it is so light! I usually can only use it if I dab a tiny tiny bit on my finger and sort of blend it onto my lips, and I don't think I'm getting full use of the SPF factor that way. It's also a very orangy-red, I thought, and not so good with my pale skin (I'm a "winter"). Really stands out. The packaging is cute, and withstood several attacks from my cats, so I gave it a 4 for packaging. I would not repurchase, too much pigment for a sheer. Maybe if I'm feeling really creative someday I'll melt it down a bit with one of my bonnie bell dr. peppers and see if I can make the texture a bit more smooth (well it is smooth but doesn't glide like the dr. pepper) and tone the color down!

I've always wanted lippies from Stila but kinda disappointed that it didnt look nice on me. I have these tints in Bare Berry & Bare Pink. Bare Berry looks terrible on me, I agree with the previous review that it looks more red than berry. Its a Liv Tyler colour, I guess more suitable for fair skin than medium/tan skin. Bare Pink looks more natural though. Not moisturising enough for me though. continued >>

I had this in berry last summer, and it was actually very brownish on me. I loved the texture and the smell, but figured the Almay were cheaper and had a higher SPF, and their berry was pinker, too. :) I do have to concede that despite losing out in the SPF department, Stila has a MUCH bigger selection of colors than Almay!

I have this in berry and can't stand it. It's more red than berry and just feels gross on my mouth.

An FYI, these have been renamed Sport Clear Colors. I have reviews under that product name.

It's packaged in a slim plastic tube. I bought Plum, but the color was actually a sheer berry. Very pretty. It has medium amount of shine and staying power. However, the SPF should be higher, and the amount of product is sortof small and is used quickly.

Just picked these up in Nude & Wine yesterday. The nude is a perfect color for those days when I don't have a mirror handy but the wine is more my style, a beautiful berry wine stain. I LOVE the smell & texture of these. I was going to save $ & buy the Almay version but Stila's colors are so much better. continued >>

I have Nude and I love it. It isn't really a 'nude' color, it's more of a cocoa mauve. It is so moisturizing and natural looking. It goes on nice and smooth. I can't wait to get some more colors!!

I have this in "Bare Berry," which turned out to be a very bright, garish fuschia. I found it to be very dry, so I don't understand how some people might find it moisturizing. It does have a very nice scent, however.

Absolutely love these!! So moisturizing and sheer yet drenched with color. I got these in "Bare Rose" for a casual day and "Bare Red" for a night out. They perfectly complement my fair porcelain skin and plump up my lips with color and shime. Definitely want to get all colors :) UPDATE: My Bare Colors turned bad within a couple of months and I had to toss them. I won´t be repurchasing these any longer, not even with the new packaging. continued >>

This is another staple of mine. I love that it has SPF, and the vanilla scent is nice. It has a lot of pigment, which I was suprised about. Very nice, and easy for when you are on the go! Small tube is easy to slip in any purse. I have to try out the Almay ones to compare.

I sort of rediscovered these lately. I bought bare pink, which is a subtle blossom pink color. I have had others and swapped them away. Bare red is a bright warm red. Bare berry is a berry that I think could turn fuschia on a lot of people. Bare wine looks to be a wearable berry wine stain. Nude is quite caramel nude, not any pink that I can see in there. Rose is not really rose at all, but a sort of a peachy honey color, very natural. Mocha is a medium pinky brown. I think that's all of them. They have a subtle scent - a bit like cocoa, I think. The testers always seem so slick and filmy in texture, but these go on more like a sheerish but matte balm texture.
I think I'll end up buying rose and possibly mocha as well. I wish they would come out with a true rose color or a peach color. Also, make sure your lips aren't too dry when you apply this or the color will sort of drag and clump on dry bits. They retail for 12, and are quite nice, although they don't stand up to Prada Tinted Balm for the best lip tint product.

I love a moisturizing lip balm & if it has a little color, all the better. I have found the perfect hybrid in Stila Sport Clear Color. I purchased it in Berry, which is a wonderful, "just ate a cherry popsicle" hue. I can dab it on for just a shot of color or apply more for a dramatic look. It's not very long lasting but that's the price you usually pay for moisture. I will definitely be trying some of the other colors soon. *edited* Meh...stuff dried my lips out after using for awhile. Why must this happen??? continued >>

I have this in Bare Nude and it's a bit to nude for me. I was hoping to get some more color. I'm going to try out Bare Mocha next time instead.

Good product, but none of the colors work on my Stila E skin. I have wine and it's a bright red on me. That's too bad. Feels as good as the Almay lip tints. Very moisturizing, and ideal product for throughout the day. But since it's no BETTER than the Almay, i wouldn't get this one again, i'll stick with Almay.

I have this in Bare Plum and while I like it, I don't like it enough to buy it again. It's not really anything special to me.

Thanks to an awesome swapper, I received this in Bare Pink. I love it! It is a beautiful color that is moisturizing and leaves a beautiful tint. Even the packaging is cute. I think these are better than the Almay tints (though those are great too).

I have this in bare pink and love it! It goes on really smoothly with nice, even pigmentation and has a lovely vanilla scent. Bare pink is a nice pink that goes on glossy and when the glossiness wears off, leave a nice, healthy pink tint. I wish the packaging was cuter, but since it's part of the sport line it is that opaque plastic with orange writing. Oh well, the tint is great!
