Really LOVE Maybelline's Color Whispers! This color was my daily go to color this summer if I wasn't using a gloss. It's a cool-based "blush" or med-fair pink that suits my cool, fair skin coloring. What I like so much is that it's not a distracting, bright or pale crayon-like pink which tend to be the two extremes I've found with pink color. So I stay away from pink lipsticks because they don't look professional but this is stronger than a gloss while, after blotting, is more lightly pigmented than other lipsticks. It finishes a full face of makeup nicely or compliments a swipe of mascara. Also, I LOVE how it feels on my lips.
The perfect neutral lip color for pale skin! I love the formula, the color, and how it wears on my lips! I totally recommend picking this up if you have pale skin and are looking for a natural and neutral lip color!
I will start this off by saying that I am not a lipstick person. I definitely am a gloss girl :) Anyway, I decided to try this lipstick formula because I heard that it doesn't feel too heavy or drying on the lips. Also, they have some great colors for a good price. Although I still much prefer gloss or liquid lipsticks (like the Bare Escentuals Pretty Amazing lipcolors), this is nice.
*Good value, decent price
*Good color range for line
*Color is buildable
*Great cool-toned/muted mauve/pink
CONS (some of which may only be applicable for people who prefer gloss)
*Still slightly drying compared to the feeling of gloss
*Slightly sheer, so must build the color
*Color doesn't last that long
This is really nice lipstick. The color is pinkish-nude and really pretty. I recommend his color for a more medium skin tone since it could look dead on fair skin tones. It's not bad with moisturization but not good. Kinda in the middle. I do warn you that if you drink or eat with it on, it might smear and won't last. The lasting power would be around 30 minutes to an hour. The packaging is really sleek and girly. The color payoff is quite sheer too. Overall I'm in the middle though I won't be buying it again. GOOD LUCK!
Hate this- too pale and makes my lips look dead. Also has a "grainy" feel when applied.
A color that looks nice in the tube but not on me.
I have tried several colors in whisper collections. I like them a lot because they don't dry out your lips. this color is cute and looked nice on me.
Packaging- It's good, doesn't come open in your purse BUT It's not tamper proof!!!!!!!!! Ugh so i have to go through several to see which one is not used =(
The product- I like the color a lot it's very cute and summer ish. It's on the glossy side which I wished it was more matte and the color DOES NOT LAST LONG AT ALL!! You HAVE to keep applying. It's also very wet, so if it was more dry I would like it more and it stains my lip with some color for days -_- Overall, I do like the product but I wish it lasted longer and was more matte. I would buy again for sure though. Price is decent too =)
This was just OK for me. I liked the color a lot but I was not a fan of the texture. To me it feels very thin and almost grainy. It also has a very faint but off-putting scent to me. To be honest, this wasn't a terrible product and I still use it, I just don't think I'm a fan of the color whispers in general.
This is a shiny, Barbie, somewhat sheer color. It needs reapplying fairly frequently. It's creamy. It looks a bit glossy too, kind of looks like a light lipstick with a gloss on top.
I am fair skinned and the reviews for paler complexions had been good so I gave it a try. The color was nice but the product does not last at all on my lips and it is not very hydrating for me (my lips are very dry) so it is not working for me. But now I use it on my cheeks now and I like it a lot. Very pretty, highlighted pink so I will be using this as a blush.
This is a muted, slightly cool toned mauvey MLBB pink for the fair skinned. This color seems to be the most popular and my local stores as it's usually sold out. This is a great one for me to keep in my purse to throw on without a mirror. It's sheer but pigmented and buildable (not to full coverage), has a glossy finish, non-drying (not moisturizing either). I love it.
In this picture, left to right is MAC creme cup for reference, Lust for blush, petal rebel, pink possibilities, rose of attraction, and coral ambition. The swatches are very true to color.
