I love love love this! It has lasted me the past three years and I'm 15 and love makeup , so that's insane! I go the through my foundation one a month. This gives me medium coverage and it's not cakey even if you set it with a powder:) I have very dry skin and this is perfect for me. Thanks garnier!
This BB cream provides medium coverage which is perfect for me and it really does blur my pores and imperfections. My skin appears fresh and youthful with one layer. It's also Non comedogenic, Oil Free and Non acnegenic which is a bonus for me considering that I have oily acne prone skin. My only complaints are the packaging and longevity. Packaging- it spills and gets on my clothes and everything else. As for the longevity it fades within an hour or two on my skin. For reference I'm in between NC45 and NC50 in MAC and wear the shade Deep. I recently ordered Lorac's primer and I'll give an update.
Update: I used primer underneath and it helped a little but not much. I really wanted this BB cream to work for me but I'm afraid I will not purchase this again. I'll use it for now considering that I have a lot of product left and I'll probably wear it to run errands but that's it. Overall I just think BB creams aren't meant for people with oily skin and I've tried most of them.
I was extremely impressed by the coverage I got from this product, and I love lots of coverage. The price is ok, the packaging is great and so is the smell. The only downfall for me is that this particular one only comes in "light medium" and "medium dark". The original garner bb cream comes in "light" which is the colour I need, but I found the original one clogged pores and caused me to break out. If this one came in my proper colour, I'm sure it would be my favourite bb cream just because of the great coverage and matte finish.
I have really strange skin. When I wash it, it's super dry but during the day it gets greasy. I have to fix my make up every half hour because it looks horible.
I don't have to use liquid fundation 'cause I don't have complection problems but I like to have bb cream. I used to think that I have normal skin so I bought Garnier bb cream for normal skin and it was awful. One day I used my sisters bb cream for mixed to oily skin and it was great. I bought it the next day and I don't have problems with oily skind during the day anymore :)
This product does not sink into my large pores. I have average oily skin. Not super oily but it is on the oily side. I'm not so sure this really controls the oil as I still have to set with a setting powder and maybe blot once thru the day. Some days I don't have to but I like a total matte finish. I do have fair skin so I got the fair/medium but have noticed that if I get a light tan, it becomes a little too light. Not a problem for me because I can set it with a darker powder and it works perfect. It's kind of expensive in my opinion. It's about $12 at the drugstore. The product is very runny so I have the store it upside down to keep it from leaking all in the cap and running out when I open it. Overall I really like it, and it feels light enough to wear on a daily basis.
This BB cream overall is not bad, but for some reason, whenever I put any other makeup on with this product, it always irritates my eyes. I wore it with makeup one day and my eyes were so irritated, I washed it off. By itself, it's not a bad product really. I would just wear it if your not going anywhere or having a lazy day.
I've been trying to find a BB cream or tinted moisturizer for a long time, because I have discoloration, some minor pimples, and dry patches. When I put it on, it made my skin look VERY greasy. I was expecting the "glow" that the product had promised but it made my face very oily. It covered most of my minor blemishes nicely but it didn't look natural. It made me look fake. Also, the product got EVERYWHERE! If you touched your face, it got on your fingers, phone, everything. I had to get a blotting sheet to wipe some it off. Don't buy this unless you want a really greasy face.
I can't believe I haven't written a review on this. I have had this for a year now and its a great BB Cream. Much nicer than most drugstore BB creams out there. This does have actual coverage and evens out the skin well. I am NW20 and accidentally bought the light/medium and got worried but it matches me well. It is very forgiving in color. It has never oxidized on me or made me oily or too dry.
I don't think its a cool BB cream but I do think its neutral in color, so I think this is great for everyone. Does not look yellow on me which is a problem I have with alot of foundations and BB creams and CC creams. It looks like skin and does keep my skin hydrated. I have very dry skin and rosacea. It does not settle into creases on me or fine lines. It lasts for a good 8 hours without having to do anything. I do not use powder in winter because I am too dry and it gives a nice satin finish. Summer I do set the t-zone with powder because I do find it shows shine after a few hours.
I only bought this because it was on sale for 20% off and I was having a moment of weakness spending money on things I didn't need at the drugstore! I have tried several other bb creams, and personally didn't care for them and/or need them. I prefer more coverage. The price was good so I tried this one. I have it in Light/Medium.
I am SO impressed with this product. I have worn it every day since purchasing and put my heavier foundations aside for special occasions. It gives my face an overall glow while mattifying and has just enough coverage. I do set with powder and use concealer on any trouble spots (under eyes, pimples etc)
I have never found a foundation, let alone a bb cream, that gives me the almost flawless look to my pores and skin. I have combination skin with large pores on my nose and cheeks, and sometimes dry patches. The finish truly is gorgeous with this product.
My only complaint is the packaging. The product is rather thin, so you don't even have to squeeze the tube for it to come out. It literally pours out when you remove the lid and tip to your palm. It also transfers badly from your hands if you do not wipe or clean them after applying. I forget a few times and looked down on my hands later in the day to see the cream visably on my palms and have also transferred to drawer handles and other items I touched afterwards, so be careful of that.
