Never would have bought this on my own as it is extremely over priced. I am also not a very big fan of BB cremes as I like a lot of coverage. This actually gives very amazing coverage, while still staying true to the nature of a BB creme. The feeling on the face is also very nice. It has a strong smell of blueberries which is actually pretty nice, but isn't too much to handle.

Outstanding product, very natural looking and gives a nice dewy finish without being super oily or slick.
Probably one of my favorite BB creams out of the 20 plus I've tried!!!
It's a little expensive, but you do get more than average.

I have tried several BB creams and this one feels and looks the best on my skin. The drawback is that I have to use much more product to get the look I want and run out of it quickly. I also find the tube too big for the contents so I have had difficulty getting all of the product out of the bottle near the end of the tube. I go through a tube of this in less than a month whereas other products with the same volume last me for months. The look I get doesn't make enough of a difference to me to justify spending that kind of money, so I will stick to my clinique cc cream and estee lauder bb cream.

Recently got a full size tube of this in the Best of Stila makeup case box. The balm is pretty thick and doesn't want to blend into my skin at first, but once it does it is fine. It makes my ginormous pores and crow's feet look less noticeable, but the BB cream (light) coverage does nothing to cover my rosacea. Because of that, I can't use this product alone but it works great as a base for my foundation and generally improves the look of my skin. HOWEVER, I've had the product for about two weeks and have already used about half of the tube. At $38, the cheapskate in me probably won't allow me to repurchase unless I find a really good deal.

I'm very fair skinned and have been trying to take dry, flaky skin lately. Stila's BB cream is fantastic. It hydrates and leaves my skin soft without feeling greasy or oily, and it brightens up my skin. The coverage is pretty good for a BB cream, which means light to mid coverage. I've tried a whole range of BB creams, both foreign and domestic as well as a range of prices and for my fair, dry skin Stila's BB creams (both the standard one and the illuminating one) are my favorite. There's a certain richness to the cream that feels smooth and creamy but still goes on light and soft.

Not bad, but not great either. I've been using this daily for about a month now and I can't say I've seen any of the results this BB claims to provide. I do like the texture and color of this, it blends into my skin quite well. I typically use this followed by concealer and mattifying powder. Even though the BB says it controls oil, without an additional mattifying product, my forehead would be an oil slick by lunchtime. It's not very hydrating and I find it blends much better with a moisturizer underneath. I got it on sale at Ulta for $20 and I will use the tube I have, but I don't see purchasing it again, especially for the $38 retail price.

Best bb cream for me. I use it as a base or alone. It gives me a flawless complexion. I am really impress with stila's product lately.

I can't say I've tried a lot of BB creams before stopping on this one by Stila, but it's the third time I am repurchasing it for the past year, and it does mean something in my very-very frequently changing make up routine. I have combination, acne prone skin, and both on my better and worse days this product delivers something that my skin needs ( smoother foundation application on better days and non-aggressive moisturizing after drying the skin out with BP and /or clay masks on my worse days.) No it's not a miracle worker, and it gets one star off for not having any SPF, but it gives your skin that softness and easiness to 'work with' that I just can't say no to. Has never broken me out.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, this is not really a BB cream in my opinion. This smooths out the face and pores, blending imperfections and giving a slight glow as a canvas for further coverage.

I have many acne scars and look for good ingredients and coverage, but this does not have the latter. If you want to cover imperfections, look elsewhere. This is super sheer. It is also very yellowy, which I do not mind and I find most of Stila's products are yellowy, but could be problematic for pink skin tones.

Pleasant smell.

For reference, my skin is dry with acne and acne scars.

EDIT: this is not the best primer after all. I prefer to use smashbox still.

I don’t like it for a BB Cream (Love Too Faced tho!) but I do like it as a thicker, base primer for my BB if I want heavier coverage.

It’s really thick and though my skin feels soft and smooth, it’s too thick and too light for me to wear a lone.

I love it under my BB. Would never wear it alone.
