Well I was nervous about spending so much on a sunblock (it's not a very big tube). Got it during Barneys beauty event so it did help quite a bit in qualifying for the GWP. Plus I hear Barneys is like Sephora in the sense where you can still return something if you try it & get major zits or any adverse reactions.
I'm glad I got this! Blocks better than anything else I've tried. I use it in the morning & it's still working in the afternoon. (I don't get how you're supposed to reapply sunblocks... Fine for the body but the face? What about your makeup?) I burn very easily, even before embarking on my Renova regimen... this is a must!
You only need a large pea size so I'm not too upset about the cost. (Needed a lot more of my previous Lavanila sunscreen.) It's pretty thick so it does take quite a bit of massaging to get it on. Probably not good for darker complexions since it leaves a whitish cast. (I'm pale so it's fine on me.)
Doesn't break me out or make me excessively greasy in SF. Too heavy to use in the humid tropics tho. continued >>
