It's OK. Not great, but not bad. The colour is very rich, pigmented, great yellow-base (for my NC30 skin tone), it's thick and moisturising.
Qualm- it smells horrible. Just horrible. Like crayons and dust-bunnies, blended together in a musky, yucky, waxy... eughh. Nice to know they didn't add fragrance which can be an irritant- but the scent is quite frankly off-putting.
Will happily use til the bottle is empty, but will not purchase again.

I bought this foundation during their 3/$30 sale so the price was not a factor, I was actually really excited to try this. However, this is not a foundation for me. After applying it with my Real Techniques buffing brush, I found my skin looked really dry even though I had already moisturized with Cetaphil before hand. I opted for the liquid foundation because I already use Bare Minerals and this looked drier than mineral foundation did sadly. I have the shade '102 Natural Ivory' and the colour works really well with my Asian skin tone, that's the one thing I did enjoy about this foundation but I would never wear it out. Luckily, I can take this back so at least my $10 won't go down the drain.

I really like this foundation. It's nice for sensitive skin like mine. I can't use foundation with dimethicone so it's really hard for me to find liquid foundations. I can only use mineral makeup. I tried this, and it's really good. I don't use this all the time though because my aesthetician made me swear to only use powder mineral makeup.

I bought this product in the golden vanilla shade as in the bodyshop moisture foundation i am a shade 06. i think this was probably closest match, its more on the goldy side than the moisture as thats more pinky toned. i liked the way it felt on skin, not heavy, skin felt moist and hydrated. one thign is that as i have combination skin i got a shiny t zone during day. although this foudnation is not as bad as most that make me look shiny. trick is just not to have so much coverage on the t zone. however i dont use much of this foundation on as only a little bit is needed and it blends in really well. it gives a nice glow to the face too, so makes skin look radiant. i do think if you have very oil skin not to go for this. its definitely good for dry skin, i think if your combo skin you can also use it. feels light and soft on skin similar to how moisture one feels on skin i do feel this is more airy. a little goes along way with this one.

This did not work for me AT ALL. I do not recommend it to people with oily and acne prone skin like me. It WILL cause you to have a break out and shiny forehead. I generally love The Body Shop and feel bad for hating this product. I even gave it a few chances to prove itself. I tried everything, from putting primer first to adding a thin layer of bb balm (to counteract the oiliness). Also tried using it on its own. No such luck.
If you have normal or dry skin, this will probably work for you. Otherwise, stay away. I gave it two lippies, because I like the packaging.

I've been doing a lot of reviews on this site about my HG products, but never have I written anything about an HG foundation before, well, glad to say that I have finally found it!
I was looking around The Body Shop because I wanted to grab their eyeshadow blending brush, which was said to be a really good dupe for the MAC 217 brush, and upon getting it, I also came across their display of this line of foundation products. This is their new line which has liquid, loose mineral, and cream foundation. And my eye caught Golden Ivory, which, surprisingly looked very similar to my skintone. Now one of the reasons why I haven't written reviews about an HG foundation is exactly because if this problem, I have a very, very hard time finding a good foundation that would a. match my skin perfectly, and b. won't break me out. I don't care having to reapply powder all the time or the finish and coverage this gives because all these years I have never found anything that would live up to these basic needs. Well enter this. I swatched this and found that it looked just like my skin, which even MAC nor BB could do. (I'm supposed to be NC30/C30, but those colors are still too pink for me, I find Asian brands give more yellow-based foundations, but they still come off too pink or too dark) The coverage is very buildable, medium to full, and the lasting power is amazing! This is seriously an instant HG product for me! And I'll be buying this baby as long as they're selling it. I'll probably head out to buy more backups eventually because I don't want them to stop making these.
EDIT!
I have been using this and was forced to go back to my favorite BB Cream because this gave me milia. I was so heart broken because I thought this was the most perfect for my skintone but somehow it oxidized on my skin throughout the day and eventually looked orange on me. I don't think I'll be repurchasing because after a few tries, I found that it also made my skin more oily throughout the day and it settled into my pores which makes me more hesitant to use it because it's oil based and I'm really scared it might clog my pores. I haven't touched this in a week and my skin improved a lot during that time, which is sadly why I don't think I'll be repurchasing this again. :( It's off my HG list.
