I bought this foundation in color 202 - Natural Vanilla ( I'm a NC 25). When I first use this foundation, I absolutely HATED it and almost threw it away. I normally use my fingers to put on foundation, but the finish seems too thick even though the coverage is decent. I then tried the foundation with a brush (the flat top powder brush from ELF) and it worked out beautifully ! Even though I have dry skin, I still reserve this foundation for the drier season, because it is oil based.

My holy grail everyday foundation! Got nothing but love for the product. The coverage is medium and without a primer would say it last for a good 5 hours however with a primer can easily last to over 8 hours. Its a dewy finish but because i have dry to very dry skin i like it that way. Feels very light weight on my skin and doesn't look cakey at all. I recommend this for people that have dry sensitive skin to try the product out.

This full coverage foundation blended onto my skin nicely.

Unfortunatly, it also made my combination skin very shiny after just a few hours and made me breakout. I won't be buying it again.

Coverage is medium, no additional concealer required. The product has a fragrance to it, which is pleasing to me. It has a dewy finish but feels slightly sticky to me as I prefer a lightweight foundation. It applies okay over my dry skin, but the major downfall was that it seems to turn pale after exposure to the sun, like I'd turn unnaturally white after say, an hour in the sun. All in all, I will not repurchase because there are plenty of better alternatives out there.

I usually buy foundations and then dont wear them out because they look funny on my skin, Id say, in the shop the lady matched my skintone quite well, but since its a medium/heavy coverage depending on how you apply it you need bronzer or blush or both over it, it just makes your skin one colour to a unnatural extent.

I like the way this wears, its dewy but not oily, the packaging i love, one thing though DONT wear it over a gel moisturiser (I wore it over the body shop seaweed light moisturiser ) and it really didnt blend well and starting flaking and clumping.

Id say its a good choice, way better than some other drugstore foundations ive bought, the colour options arent bad, just moisturise well before and apply with a light hand and a nice blush. in the uk i bought this for 14 pounds

The colours aren't that great, pretty yellowish, good thing is I prefer yellowtoned foundations to pink ones, doesn't suit everyone though.

The thing I dislike the most is the smell, it smells extremely metallic and nasty, and I can smell it on my face all day - such a deal breaker!!

It has pretty full coverage which makes your skin look great and pretty flawless, although it kind of takes the life out of the skin so you need to put in some effort with blush and bronzer afterwards.

I also don't like foundations that won't dry into your skin, this one makes your face feel all sticky and greasy all through out the day.

In Sweden it's pretty expensive too (around 300 SEK, which is about $45US)

Make sure you try it out properly in the store, ask for a tiny sample so you can also try it at home!!

This is one of my favorite foundations! It's lightweight and makes my skin glow brilliantly. It absorbs nicely and my favorite part is that stays on through exercise and the 115 degree Arizona summer heat! Since my skin is oily, I was worried that I would shine like a sweaty man, but that was fortunately not the case, as it actually gave my skin an even matte finish. However, you don't need to pay full price for any body shop product - I had a $20 off coupon, and there's always sales and new coupons coming out!

This retails for $25 but I got this half off ( $12.50 )- * tip never pay full price at The Body Shop, they always have sales, Groupons, coupons, etc. *

This foundation is for normal-dry skin- it has a dewy finish and moisturizing. I am normally oily-combo skin type but my skin has been acting up lately and decided to be dry and flaky. Most of the foundation in my collection are geared toward oily skin and when I used them it made my skin look really bad. I wanted something that won't make my skin look dry and this did the trick. My skin looked smooth and my dry patches were not as apparent. It last a good six hours on my skin. It did feel a bit heavy but I am guessing most moisturizing foundations have that type of feel. Coverage was light-medium- not buildable the more that you put on- the heavier it looked.

I was matched in the shade 302 Golden Beige- which is the similar to MAC NC37-NC40. I am normally in the range of NC35-NC37- so this shade in on the verge of being too dark for me. I really should have got the next shade down 208 Golden Vanilla and mixed them.

Even though I was able to find a decent match- I am guessing someone with really pale or really dark skin will have a tough time. This range really excels in the mid tone range of shades. The have four levels of shades :(Ivory light), Vanilla (medium), Beige (medium-tan ) and Caramel ( tan.) Within those levels are the undertones Rose (cool), Natural (neutral),and Golden (yellow.) Which makes it easier to pin point what foundation shade to select.

Overall, I like this foundation when my skin is dry- I do not think it will work well when my skin is oily.

I really like this foundation but i don't quite love it... yet. I've had major trouble with foundation my whole life because of my dry skin and everything looks absolutely horrible! I've tried sooo many different brands ranging from high end to drugstore but no success.
This foundation is very moisturising and feels light on my skin even though it offers good coverage when used with concealer. I was a bit undecided from trying out this foundation because i'd tried the moisture foundation from The Body shop and it was awful! it was greasy, offered next to no coverage, made my skin look dry and made me break out big time! I hardly ever break out so it really put me off body shop foundations.
But anyway, i went into the store and asked if they think that this would be good for me and they said it was a nice foundation that would be really moisturising. it was annoying that i was matched to a colour that was too dark for me, though. I was given the second lightest because it had more of a pink undertone.
Thats one of the things that i dislike about this foundation - the shade range has no fair colours or really dark colours which is a pain in the butt.
The other thing that i dislike is the lasting power. It only really lasts for about 6 hours and then i need to touch up. This would be a bigger problem for people with combo skin or less dry than mine so beware! I could understand this being 'oily' on some.
A good thing, however, is the price. Its pricey compared to some drugstore foundations but i only have to use one pump to cover my whole face! I've used it everyday for about 10 days and have only used a very small fraction of the whole thing. I could see this lasting me a couple of months which is rare for me.
I find its best applied with a foundation brush or fingers. A buffing brush made my skin look dry and a sponge absorbed too much product and i had to use over two pumps.
People said that this made them breakout but i haven't experienced this personally. But then again, foundations dont really make me break out. (even though the Body Shop moisture foundation did)

To conclude, If i can find a way to make it last longer and a little lighter then i will really love this product which is sooo rare for me because i'm so fussy when it comes to makeup. The finish is fantastic and has good coverage without looking too heavy or cakey. Definitely my go-to if i'm going somewhere for a short while because its so easy to blend quickly.

It's OK. Not great, but not bad. The colour is very rich, pigmented, great yellow-base (for my NC30 skin tone), it's thick and moisturising.
Qualm- it smells horrible. Just horrible. Like crayons and dust-bunnies, blended together in a musky, yucky, waxy... eughh. Nice to know they didn't add fragrance which can be an irritant- but the scent is quite frankly off-putting.

Will happily use til the bottle is empty, but will not purchase again.
