right now i am giving this a 2 because idk if i just have a bad one or if its just not pigmented my facorite youtuber uses this and it looks great on her and shows up but for some reason no matter how much i use it doesnt show up and my skintone is pretty light i guess ill keep trying if not its cheap enough to toss it and forget.
In addition to a drawer full of drugstore bronzers, I own Bobbi Brown's "Light Golden", Tarte's "Park Avenue Princess", Too Faced's "Milk Chocolate Soleil" and Nars' "Laguna".
All of them, even Laguna to a lesser degree, can pull orange on my very pale, neutral skin, but ELF's "Golden Bronzer" never does. It's probably closest to Laguna in color, with greater wear time, and more portability (I won't carry a $40 bronzer in my purse, but I will a $3 bronzer).
The only downside is the shimmer. It's unmistakable.
Fantastic bronzer for light-to-pale skin. This gives me (NW15-20) a beautiful and subtle golden glow that's almost impossible to overdo. I love products that you can slap on a little haphazardly without having to worry about proper placement on the face, especially when you're in a hurry - this is one of those products. No matter where I put this, my face looks lightly bronzed. SInce the product is so subtle and goes on so well, you don't have to spend an eternity blending it out for it to look "natural". It just looks natural right away. This bronzer might not be a great choice for someone who wants a dark, pigmented bronzer so keep that in mind. The microshimmer in it (no chunks of glitter) gives the face a nice sheen. The product gives me enough warmth where I don't have to wear a blush or a highlighter, which is great on hurried mornings that I need to be out the door fast. Doesn't have the most incredible lasting power (5-6 hours), which is why I took off a lippie. But what can you expect for ~$5? I will say that if you're a pale-skinned girl looking for a great subtle bronzer, this is a product you DON'T want to miss.
Lots of product for a great value! Would definitely re-purchase again.

For NC30, this may not work as a bronzer, I mean if you want to look like you've been in the sun, this product is not going to work. It has very fine shimmer, and if applied layer after layer, you are sure going to look like Christmas decorations.
I find it works great after powder/mineral fdn, to take away that matte powdery look.
I was considering getting the Guerlain 4 season bronzer, but after this product, I am not going to.
I really like this Bronzer and wear it most days. I am fair skinned but rosy. It gives a fairly subtle glow. It has shimmer but does not make you look over done. Great packaging with mirror. Excellent value.
ELF products always have quality that exceeds the price point, in my experience, and this bronzer is no exception. The color is really pretty, fairly light and not orange at all. The powder goes on very evenly and blends beautifully. The compact has four different pans that comprise it, which you can swirl together or use the colors individually. The packaging is sleek and holds up well. It has never caused me any skin problems. You can't beat it for $3!
But, a word of advice: this is not an all-over-the-face sort of bronzer. It is VERY shimmery, which makes it lovely as a highlighter, for cheeks, collarbones, cleavage, what have you. However, if you try to apply this all over you will end up looking like a gold robot. Seriously, too much and your skin looks metallic.

I've been using this everyday. Will probably not but it again because it is a little to light for my complexion bit I really do like it. The glitter really doesn't bother me at all
Hey it was $3, not a huge waste of money, but this one isn't for me. It's too shimmery and didn't give me that sun kissed glow I wanted. I think I'm going to use them separately as eye shadows instead, hence the 2 lippies instead of 1.

I would buy this again but not for bronzing. In my opinion it works a lot better as eyeshadow then bronzer. The colors are too pigmented and sparkly for a bronzer. But for eyeshadow? If your looking for a little nude pallet and dont wanna spend a fortune then here ya go! The packaging is really nice. After a while of using it mine got these white beads in it? They were mixed in with the product and i thought that was a little strange. I really do like the texture of these!

Oh man! What a wonderful product! I just hit pan on it today which sparked my interest in writing a review. I bought this a few years back when i was a bronzer virgin & had dry skin. I'm super pale and i really liked how this gave a subtle bronze with a hint of glow. Never ever looked orange or overdone. Fast forward three years and now I have a drawer full of bronzers and suuuuper oily skin. Needless to say this went to the back of my highlighting drawer and i didn't pull it out again until recently. knowing what i know now about makeup & bronzers I don't think i would recommend this as an all over bronzer, but it goes beautiful paired with virtually any cheek product as a highlight. the four quadrants also make beautiful glowy eyeshadows. I reach for this way more than my Dior Amberdiamond and I think that is due to the fact that this is so versatile, not only in application, but in color. The two top colors are a warm golden brown and a warm pink, and the two bottom colors are a nice white gold and a cool taupe color. This means that this works with a variety of cheek combos. I use the top two when i want to look more golden (usually in summer with all of my peach blushes) and the bottom two when i want more of a cool toned glow (winter and spring with all of my plum and pink blushes).
The packaging is sturdy and it comes with a nice big mirror. the product itself has a nice consistency. It's not smooth like butter or anything but it's pretty soft and pigmented. this has lasted me a really long time, so overall i'd say it's definitely worth the three dollars.
going to pick myself a backup today!
