This is a really nice, rich, deep pink berry color. Right up my alley. I love Illamasqua's lipstick packaging and the names of their products. I receieved a double of this when it showed up in my Mystery Box, and gave it to a friend. She loves it too!

I'm glad this was the other lipstick in the "Alter Ego" collection. I really like this one. Drench is a deep bold berry that is fairly matte yet creamy in texture. The color really pops, though it is a little hard to pull off for me because my lips are not particularly full.

Drench is very opaque and heavily pigmented, which is nice. While this isn't my favorite berry-red (Givenchy's Illicit Raspberry is) I definitely like this color and find it a nice near-red for a contemporary bold lip.

I have also found that this pairs nicely with gloss for a very long lasting berry stain.

I like Drench well enough but I'm not crazy over the colour - it doesn't suit me. The texture and everything else is fine, and I bought this product sight unseen so I don't see any reason to mark it down because it's not my favourite colour! Nice deep berry red.

Really love this lipstick.The colour is a beautiful raspberry red which is very matte. I'm a red lipstick fan, and MAC Russian Red has long been a favourite. I don't wear it so often anymore though as it is quite full on for a daytime look.
I have posted a picture of me wearing this lipstick above. It is such a pretty colour, although I find in photos it looks very bright with no flash, and with a flash looks almost fluorescent!
However, it applies like a dream and doesn't wear unevenly. I find that I can wear it all day with no Lipcote and not reapply - it just fades down to a reddish stain which is actually quite nice,
I think these lipsticks are pricey, and I don't especially like the packaging. I mean, I don't dislike it, but for £15.50 I kind of expect it not so, well, plasticky.
I would recommend this lipstick if you like reds, but are looking for something 'a bit different'. Don't buy this if you have never worn a red thinking it is muted and a good one to ease you in - it's really too bright for that.

Love this lipstick. I tend to shy away from full on red lipsticks but this deep raspberry red colour is so wearable. Love the matte finish and the colour pay off is great. Depending on the lipliner used, it can pull more pink or red.
Great worn as a stain but I like it best when worn full on. Looks fab with my skintone (nc30-35). Would totally recommend and will absolutely buy again when I run out.

I just got this after trying it on in the Illamasqua stand. realising how nice it looked on me I found it on sale on the website (£7.50), This a beautiful raspberry red, its pigmented without being loud. I can see myself wearing this as a stain and then wearing it full on in the evening with a little eye make up. I have found that the finish of this lipstick is not as matte as other Illamasqua lipsticks I have which is a nice change, but lipbalm is always a good idea.

This lipstick is super sexy. It's become my everyday go-to, although I mostly wear it as a stain. The color on me is more pink than red, but a deep pink to be sure. It's super matte and long-wearing, but I usually layer it on top of a balm to make sure my lips have a little moisture.

Illamasqua's formula is seriously the best out there. Although the reds are seriously amazing, Drench is absolutely hands-down my favorite for day-to-day wear.

Drench is a terrific red. In fact, this matte lippie isn't all that drying. It's wearable for about 5 hours, even through eating and drinking. I am amazed at this first purchase of Illa's lippies.


In comparison, I wore YSL pur couture #1 red this morning. It wore off, or slipped off, incredibly too soon. Plus the look of the lip disappointed me! Drench provided absolute satifaction with the overall look of the lip. In fact, it made them look bigger! A Plus! The YSL made them look smaller! A Minus!


I am definitely going to be a repeat customer for Illa. This red is straight-on red without blue tones. And it is wonderful on the lips...try it...you'll love it!
