Yes Yes Yes, I'll buy this again. . .no idea how long they've been making it, but it's been a while. Mine is so old the case is chipped and the lid doesn't stay on. But it's one of those lipsticks I keep rediscovering in my makeup bag every now and again, and love using until something more expensive and glamorously packaged catches my eye. But this is just a fantastic, flattering color, on me at least. I have pale skin that can look blotchy in most reds; this berry color, however, makes my skin look fantastic and creamy. Love it, recommend highly. Chic and excellent when even you're wearing no makeup otherwise, just going for the Euro-simplicity look. Oh, almost forgot to mention: This is similar to but better than MAC's Rebel, on me at least. More sophisticated, less goth. Save your MAC $$ for Ruby Woo, on those days/nights you want a bright red.

Deep Wine is just a notch off of perfect for me, so I often top it off with a violet-tinted lip balm to give it a less russet, more blue undertone. Also WNW lippies can be a little drying, so I apply Vaseline before or after using the lipstick. Still, it's a great classic color that you can matte out, sheer down, or frost up, so definitely a great deal for $1.

I've had this in my train case forever so I decided to bust it out and give it a try. In high school, colors like this were my go-to and now that I've tried a color like this on after many years of nudes and pinks and clears, this stuff is the bomb.com! I love it. Satiny, deep, truest dark port wine color. I did line my lips first with a matching lipliner and it really was striking. Give it a try-I got mine at Walgreens for .99!

I bought this on a whim because it was 99 cents and it was bogo free. So I got the only 4 lipsticks they still had in stock that I thought were pretty. I wore this mixed with Just Garnet with very light makeup otherwise. I couldn't believe how many noticed and complimented me.
I had to be very careful about the application. I used a lipbrush to line it around my lips before filling it in and then blotted and used the powder/tissue trick. Then applied a little more from the tube. I brought both the shades with me in case I needed to reapply but it actually stayed on pretty well. I was surprised that it stayed through light kissing and drinking out of a glass but after about three hours or so I needed a touch up. I would recommend using a matching lipliner (I didn't have one this shade) as it likes to bleed out a little. Overall I love the color, I think the formula is nice, not drying. I just wish it had a little more stay power and maybe a fancier tube.

I like the dark purplish / maroonish color of this lipstick ... It does look good on my NC 40 - 42 color , quite pigmented lips .Also the color stays pretty good for more than couple hrs .

Feels Silky for the first 1/2 hr or so and then dry out the lips...Not silky any more ! Even with Carmex or Chapstick underneath I felt dry lips !!!

For just $ 1 , there's a lot of product ... The packaging is nice.. Silver color tube with a opaque plastic lid...We can really see the color instead of being fooled by the wrong color on the container sometimes...

The drawback on the packaging is ,when u twist the lipstick back in after using , it gets a cracked line where the top of the tube and the lipstick meets ... and eventually the lipstick will break it seems ... I can see the cracked line on both the WNW lipsticks I have , only after few times of using them ..

Well it is a really nice color! And it stains your lips! After I've been wearing it an evening, I brush my teeth and went to bed - next morning my lips were rosy-stained.
You can built it in layers; make it light, make it dark, blot it and it will still maintain beautiful and will have an amazing color.
The only problem is the packaging. I hate lipsticks where the top of it is in the cap, which means that when I'm drunk I will 100% ruin a little bit of it.
But go buy it, you can loose NOTHING.

I just received this in a swap today.
I actually wanted Hot Red, but thanks to an amazing lady I received this one as well and I do like it incredibly!
Actually I like it much more than Hot Red.
On my lips it's a beautiful, dark (but classy), berry color, it looks just like I hoped MAC's Rebel would look like.
The color is buildable, and the lipstick is moisturizing - I can't imagine wearing it without a lip pencil, it definitely tends to smear - but this doesn't matter at all, 'cause otherwise I am completely satisfied with the product.

I bought this for 99 cents to wear at Halloween (I don't normally wear vivid lipstick, just gloss). Considering the price, I was amazed by the texture: silky and creamy, moist yet lightweight. Nice pigmented color is a berry/blue-toned red. I can't speak to staying power compared to other brands, as I rarely wear lipstick per se, but I have the sense from the feel that the staying power is okay but nothing spectacular. I would definitely re-purchase this brand, and I plan to pick up a different (more brownish) color for everyday wear.
