To be real, you're best using a setting spray as a primer anyway. I don't feel this gives me any more advantage over my L.A. girl setting spray.

I have the oil control finishing spray, and Y'all, let me be real with you for a moment. My face is an oil slick like no other, and my makeup slips and slides. I was watching my favorite youtuber, Carli Bybel, and she recommended this, so I was like why not? THIS. STUFF. WORKS. My face was shine free, I went to sleep with my makeup on (accidentally! don't judge me lol), and i woke up and my makeup still looked superb. I recommend it, ladies! And its a fine mist so it does not feel super heavy on your face.

I kind of hate this. It gets the job done, but it consistently makes me look 10 years older as the day wears on. Every line on my face gets deeper! I think it must be the amount of alcohol. The regular version doesn't do this and I absolutely love it. This one does seem to make my makeup lasts longer and slightly more transfer resistant though, so I see the appeal. It also, however seems to slightly break down my makeup and cut the full coverage a little. On the plus side, I do find it to be hypoallergenic. If you have young skin, I say enjoy! Over 40, MAC Fix is your better friend. Cheap? (No shame, Baby!) Try the NYX Dewy. Not a complete dupe, but very similar, and won't make you look QUITE as haggard.

Holy Grail non-silicone makeup primer. I bought it at the Makeup Show last summer, so it was a nice discount for me. As long as they keep on making this I will remain a faithful customer.Reasons why I love this is -1. I have a mild contact allergy to silicone. Which sadly means that most of the primers on the market are unacceptable and ineffective for my skin. Some of the worst ones I've tried caused my skin to look simultaneously oily AND cakey. No bueno. 2. It feels like nothing on my skin. 3. It works.I shake the bottle, spritz two/three times into my palms, and pat the stuff in quickly, letting it slightly dry before I apply foundation. It's slightly grippy from the get-go.All my foundations last longer with this primer lying underneath. I can wait hours longer until I find it necessary to blot my face. The primer works with both water-based foundations (MUFE Face&Body) and silicone-based foundations equally well. It's alcohol-based, so be careful if your skin doesn't like that stuff. But assuming you're oily-skinned and every foundation that you've tried isn't lasting long enough for you, try this! The price is reasonable for its effectiveness, and to be frank, you won't find a product this unique in the drugstore. So. Verdict: Highly recommended.

I really wanted to like this product, but unfortunately this product doesn't live up to its expectations. The spray does nothing for me in terms of oil control, my face gets as oily as it would normally get without a finishing spray. However, the spray does do a wonderful job on making my makeup last longer. But considering the steep price, I would not buy this product again. There are cheaper alternatives for a similar setting spray.
