Eyeliner -Pop Beauty -Kajal Pen eyeliner

Have this in Sooty Black...First off let me just say I am a strictly liquid/gel liner kind of girl but I am always looking for a pencil liner for those days when I don't have the patience to do my liner. Basically, I need a lazy liner. This is the only pencil liner that I like. It has decent staying power (not as great as liquid but not horrible for a pencil) and it is the only pencil that doesn't migrate to under my eyes....good FOR A PENCIL LINER

Foundations -Pop Beauty -CC Cream

on 11/14/2016 3:09:00 AM

Pros:
- Great, adaptable color
- Nice scent
- Goes on evenly
- Easy to apply
- Pump packaging
- Buildable

Cons:
- Packaging broke, but after a very long time

I have combination oily skin and mostly applied this product on the more oily parts of my face. It had perfectly fine staying power on me, especially if I used a primer or set it with a spray or powder, but none of those were usually necessary.

I purchased this product through Urban Outfitters on a whim when it went on sale for $9.99. I almost wish I had picked up 2, but the one tube lasted me sooo long it's probably best I hadn't. I really loved using this product and it became a staple in my makeup routine. My tube probably has another couple weeks of product left in it and I'm sad to see it go. With the pump, the tube stays sealed and no air gets in, which also allows the pump to work as it creates a vacuum inside. I think the seal broke on my tube once when I was flying, so I started having to remove the lid to get product as the pump no longer worked. This isn't really a complaint though as the packaging worked fine for me for such a long time and I think the air pressure in the plane is what did it in.

I got the Universal shade and it worked perfectly for my fairly pale skin. I only used it around my T-zone to cover some redness, so it lasted me an incredibly long time. I liked that this wasn't too full coverage and would cover up the redness in my skin while still letting my freckles peak through. The scent was also wonderful, I looked forward to putting it on every morning just for the smell. The fragrance wasn't irritating or too strong, mildly perfume-y.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that isn't looking for a full coverage foundation and just wants a nice, buildable coverage. Would repurchase, even full price!

Lip Treatments -Pop Beauty -Sweet Good Morning Kiss

This is a click pen wand with a doe foot applicator that dispenses a peppermint lip scrub. It's good to put in your purse instead of the clunky jars lip scrubs usually come in.

Palettes -Pop Beauty -Smoky & Smitten

I found this palette last Christmas on sale around Christmas. I really love it and all of the shadows. They are all on the shimmery side but not so shimmery that a 30 something year old couldn't wear it too. I absolutely love the two middle colors (it's a base color and a highlight). Wish I could find these colors individually so I can buy again.

Eye Shadow -Pop Beauty -Bright Up Your Life Orchid Glimmer

on 12/7/2015 5:53:00 PM

Lovely little trio. Orchid Glimmer contains three shadows..a pale pink shimmer, a greyish purple shimmer, and a dark plum with a slight sheen. The shadows are fairly pigmented, but work best on primer. They blend beautifully, and lasting time is fair. You may need to take a little more time to apply these, as they do need to be built up. The consistency of the shadows is very soft and buttery. I purchased this in a "Pink Truffle" kit, that included a lip crayon, and a blush. For the price (1/2 off for Black Friday), it was a great deal, and everything in the kit is well put together and works great. I would not repurchase this kit, but I would repurchase it in another color.
