Yes I totally agree - this toner isn't for everyone, especially those who don't tolerate AHA's well. For most other skin types though this is good stuff. It's natural, alcohol-free, has beneficial ingredients in it and it works! Alongside removing any last traces of my makeup and prepping my skin for my night serum, it exfoliates due to the 5% Glycolic acid content, leaving my face looking clearer, more radiant and smoother. No breakouts, if anything it helps clear any hormonal acne faster than it would on its own. It also helps keeps my pores clear. For a toner this is pretty much an all-rounder, just be sure to use SPF during the day. Personally I don't use it during the morning as instructed, only on a night. Have tried on mornings too but didn't see any additional benefits whilst I did, so I figured why waste an admittedly pricey toner when I can get the same benefits by just using once each night. Can see this lasting me a long time as still only a third way through the bottle...Selena x~ My HG list ~(As I've sampled many 100s of skin, hair and m/u products over the last decade and a half, I thought it might be useful to share my top 10 must-have products, subject to change if and when I come across something more effective. This product came along at the perfect time in my life. I was frustrated with powder blushes that looked so dry and fake on my aging skin. I couldn't find a cream blush that looked natural, and some of them made me break out. Then the heavens opened and dropped this lovely tube of youthful glow into my hands (sounds better than "I plucked this off the rack at Target" doesn't it) and I will never look back. I have tried all three colors; only Natural left me unimpressed (I couldn't see it at all on my skin). The other two look great on their own or even combined. There is definitely a learning curve to using this product. It requires a very light, feather touch to blend. I also have tried it under and over powder, and strangely I find it works best over powder. It adds a really natural, dewy glow that helps to balance the dry look of the powder. Not all sunscreens work with this blush. I tried it with the L'Oreal Regenerist SPF30 lotion, which I've used happily for years, and it turned into a streaky hot mess. Goodbye Regenerist!I use a tiny drop on each cheek every day, so I can see this stuff lasting for a year.

One use was enough to show me that this product is not for me. Calling it a cream is misleading. It’s more like a gel moisturiser. It’s simply not nourishing enough for my dry skin. I put it on and my skin immediately absorbed it. My skin didn't feel anymore nourished. It still felt dry. I had to put something else on. The scent is nice. It’s not overpowering, but I wish Pixi would stop putting essential oils in their skincare. This product would be good for combo-oily skin. I will be returning it.

Seriously the absolute best product for natural looking skin. I’ve used it with a beauty blender, brush and even fingers and I swear to gosh it’s beautiful all ways! It’s not transfer proof, and it doesn’t set down to a Matte, but if you love something light on the skin, with a natural finish this is for you! I’ve used up three bottles of this stuff in two of the shades. I have rosacea, and very dry skin and it’s just enough coverage for my redness, and my skin actually feels more hydrated after using it.

I received it in an advent calendar. It has a cooling feel on the lips and keeps my (always dry) lips hydrated. Smells minty sweet. It doesn't sting like dior lip maximizer. Of course my lips aren't plumped, but feels nice on the lips, not sticky (though hair will still stick to it in the wind). It lasts longer than my usual balms. The taste is rather pleasant as well. Will repurchase after I run out.
