Was so excited to try this and was so disappointed. This left me with HUGE cyclic acne on my chin - something I’ve never had. I had pimples on top of pimples. I’m now left with red scaring on my chin. I used this for 6 weeks thinking my skin was just purging but my skin continued to get worse and worse with huge red angry pimples coming up everywhere. These huge painful spots only went away when I stopped using this product. So so so disappointed

I love this serum! It's thick but not greasy. I use 2 drops and i pat it into my skin and then very gently massage it in focusing on my problem areas (cheeks). It does leave a sticky residue behind but it absorbs into your skin after about 10 minutes or so. The dropper isn't the best and rather impractical. It doesnt pick up a lot of product and when you go to put it back in the bottle all the serum on the outside of the dropper spills out around the rim of the bottle. It's a small gripe, though because if you work slowly and carefully you can avoid this. Other than that the packaging is super cute. I've kept the original lid for travelling. Thanks to another reviewer here for that suggestion. Between this and the nip+fab glycolic pads my acne scars have faded drastically. I use this 3 times a week and the results have been amazing. I've heard so many wonderful things about pixi and this serum has proven to NOT be all hype so I'm going to check out the glow tonic next.

I bought this after watching a YouTube review from Jessica Braun. She has dry skin like me, and has had some good advice about products. I am not very familiar with Pixie, but have bought a few products in the past. I love this product, and it is perfect for when I get out of the shower and my face feels tight, despite using Cerave Hydrating cleanser. I spray this on, and then use my body products and move on to morning skin care. It takes away that tight feeling, and makes a nice base for my Vitamin C (Timeless) and Colleen Rothchild moisturizer. The mist is very fine, and the dispenser is a pump spray. The product is reasonably priced, and i highly recommend it.

This drugstore product performs like a high-end one. I do use more than the recommended amount (a coin size) of each. The oil side removes my make up really well. I generally wear concealer, mascara, bronzer, lipstick, and highlighter. The cream cleansing side is a great gentle cleanser that leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. There is no harsh fragrance, drying or irritation. I have sensitive, combo skin that leans oily. The one thing I dislike is the packaging. The cream side tends to get along the top edge of the oil side when you spin the cap. I think a hinged-cap might have been a better choice. I love the product though, so I can put up with this.

My skintype: mildly-severely congested(depending on how thorough my skincare regime for that period is) When looking for a cleanser; I tend to go for those that claim to be suited for congested skin but none of them really deliver. Most just end up over-drying the surface and then congestion remains unsolved. I was a bit skeptical about this cleanser at first, worrying that it might overdry my skin. This cleanser has a weird texture; non soapy, claylike that turns milky upon lathering. But let me tell you something, once you wash it off your face somehow feels clean inside and out and the best part is my face doesn’t feel tight at all.I don’t know what nonsense some users meant by the cleanser having a perfume-like scent. It doesn’t. It’s awesome, affordable and effective. Highly recommend those with similar skintype to get it!
