I got these in San Paolo and Milan and was totally hooked. Jumped onto the NYX lip cream bandwagon immediately. What's there not to love? The colours are vivid and it's dirt cheap. But what really sold me was the formula - it glides on like silk and while I love bright colours (they brighten my NC25 complexion), I was always hesitant to wear them because they tend to transfer onto my teeth. Not with these lip creams - no worry about transfers and I don't even feel I'm wearing anything, that's how comfortable they are. Most brilliant lip invention this millennium!

These were the first "liquid lipstick" I've tried and, at first, I loved them, but since purchasing other liquid lipsticks, I've started to see their flaws and there are sooo many of them! I have shades Cannes, Tokyo, Istanbul and Copenhagen. Most of these are really patchy and they don't go evenly on your lips. They transfer really badly and even go above your lipliner, so your left looking horrible. The have a scent and I don't like that. All in all, I wouldn't call these liquid lipstick because they aren't longwearing and the formula is moussy. Good thing about them is that there are millions of shades and they aren't drying. I completly stopped using them and replaced them with Colourpop Ultra Satin lipsticks.

Just bought Milan and San Juan and I'm in love! I personally don't find the formula to be drying, which I do with all of my mattes from Mac (I was ready to give up but NYX has managed to convert me back to matte!). I would say that these are a fab alternative to Mac; cheaper, quality product and packaging AND its cruelty free! The only thing I would say is that you don't get a lot of product in the tube but for £5.50 a pop I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. The major problem is with Boots, the UK stockist who never seem to have their stock filled up and the testers are either missing or empty! Other than that I am a complete NYX convert and would buy everything if I could!!

Next best thing to MAC matte lipsticks in my opinion! I love the colour choices and the quality is very good for the price. The lasting power is great, and unlike lipsticks, I find that once dry it doesn't transfer at all. I've only touched up once from day to night. The only thing I struggle with then buying is deciding if the colour on the bottle will reflect the colour on my skin, sometimes it comes out a little different to what is pictured - but that's what testers are for!

I decided to try these out after all the hype behind them being as good as high end liquid lipsticks & was sadly disappointed. I have the pink shades tokyo, milan, & instanbul. They are different colors than whats in the tube, especially milan which looks like barbie pink lipstick on. I really do not enjoy the formula on these at all, they are "soft"like the name implies but its a weird texture. The best way to describe it would be like whipped cream after you leave it out & it melts. Its really hard to get an even coat of this stuff & it transfers like no other. This also includes to the outside of your mouth even with lip liner. This stuff melts & smudges everywhere & it never really seems to set itself into a matte, always has the same consistency it had in tube. I found it this way with all of them. I would not recommend these unless you really like reapplying your makeup every two seconds or having lipstick on the sides of your mouth and/or face. The one thing i can say i did like about this product is that it does smell good, like vanilla cupcakes. Also if you are looking for something else from nyx their liquid suede has a much better formula than the soft mattes & actually stays on.

I always been allergic to regular lipsticks and there's very few which agrees with my lips. Nyx lipcream totally agreed with my lips and they colours are extremely beautiful. This matte cream creates that sexy natural look and it also hydrates my lips. It's extremely affordable so I recommend it to everyone. Amazing product

Ok, I was severely disappointed with these.Pros:- scent- naming (makes you feel like Indiana Jones, but in makeup :))Cons:- extremely patchy- very drying, with or without lipbalm and exfoliation- lasting power is so small it is ridiculous- does not layer well on top of itself- takes too long to dry - gathers and budges on the inside of the lips if applied more than a tiny amount- fades uglyAnd I guess your question: maybe it was a bad one or maybe it was a fake one? Nope, double-checked, original and fresh. I had this in Prague, Monte Carlo, and Milan, and literally all of them had these issues. Especially Monte Carlo, which had watery consistency and took about 30min to dry... Who has the time? Prague has the best formula, but then again wasn't good enough. Even lip liner does not save the day. I wouldn't recommend these at all and don't get the hype.

For reference: I am NC10/NC15 fair Korean.I am so fond of these lip creams primarily because they are so comfortable to wear. Has a cupcake scent which I initially didn't like, but it grew on me. Better than a chemical scent!I own Tokyo (pale baby pink), Buenos Aires (pale bright peach), Athens (light nude), and Stockholm (peach nude.) First off, I found the best way to apply these is wipe off excess product against the tube to prevent globs of product on your lips that would just turn out to be a mess. Light, thin layers apply nicely with these lip cremes.I know Stockholm is a HG for many ladies, but unfortunately it is the exact shade of my lip color so I gave it away. Athens on the other hand is similar in undertone, just a shade lighter so it compliments me better.Tokyo is my current favorite baby pink, and Buenos Aires is my current nude peach. I do believe that these two are the least popular shades from the line, but it's probably because most people apply these full on. A light, layer with these two shades is perfect and opaque enough for the lips; subtle, lovely colors.

It's one of my favorite lip products of all time. I own 6 shades: Tokyo, Stockholm, Antwerp, Morocco, Transylvania & Sao Paolo. The only one I don't like is Tokyo- it's patchy. Stockholm is definitely my favorite. It's not super long lasting- staying power is similar to a "regular" lipstick. You can reapply the product easily and it won't get patchy. The shade range is amazing, the product is easy to use and you can throw it into your bag for touch ups. SMLCs are not drying, the finish is satin matte. For the price, you cannot go wrong.
