Maybe its just me but I didn't like it. When first applied it looks great but it doesn't last and it fades badly. I have to also wipe off whatever is left on my lips and then put on a fresh layer. I keep giving it another try but still not happy.
I have this in 210 Blush Twist. Just a hint of color, which is fine by me. I wouldn't say it moisturizes my lips, but it doesn't dry them out either.
On impulse, I purchased this in Rose twist.
My overall impression of it is "Meh".
I've been on a sheer lipstick / tinted balm kick lately and was hoping that the CG version of the chubby would be an economical alternative to Clinique's version. While I can't comment on Clinique's version yet as I haven't tried it yet, I wasn't at all impressed by CG's version.
I was expecting something more along the line of a moisturizing, sheer lipstick, but this wears more like a regular lipstick and not in a good way. It reminded me of the CG lipsticks that were popular when I was in my teens. It was not very moisturizing nor was it sheer. Definately not what I wanted.
I got the shade Ballet Twist, but now I wish I got a different one. I thought it would deposit a lot more color on my lips than it did. You can only tell I'm wearing a lip product because of the shimmer! I do think it leaves a nice glow, though. I don't like how it builds up in a line where my lips touch. I also think it doesn't evenly distribute on my lips very well and makes dry flakes more noticeable. Covergirl really let me down this time!

This is a great gloss. I bought it in Scarlet Twist, which is a bright red. The color is beautiful and the formula is moisturizing and long lasting. With the packaging, the whole gloss came out during one of my first uses. I probably won't re-purchase this gloss in particular, but I'll probably look to another Cover Girl formula because I love how long lasting and moisturizing their lip products are.

I love these so much! I have nothing to complain about except for the packaging. Once you rip off the plastic covering, the name of the color goes with it so all you're left with is a number.
The product itself smells like those cheap lipsticks we all used to play with as a kid, but I personally don't mind it. I got mine in the shade Apricot Twist, it's a muted coral color. It's a MLBB (my lips but better) color, which is great for everyday/natural looks.
It does what it advertises, which is give a sheer pop of color + glossy look. This isn't great for those with dry lips, as it does seem to accentuate every little crack. I'd suggest putting a balm or use some lip scrub before applying it. The gloss affect doesn't last a long time, I'd say about an hour or so but the packaging makes touch ups easy.
My CVS carries these for $9.50, almost $10 if you include tax, which is a bit steep for a drugstore product. I know Target and Walgreens have these for like $7-8 but there are none near my house. I only got this because of a $5 sale on all Covergirl Lipperfection products.
I think these are great despite a few issues here and there, but I don't mind them. I'm definitely picking up another 1 or 2 of these before the end of the week.

I received a full-sized sample of Clinique's chubby stick in their gift and fell in love but I wasn't ready to make the full $16 commitment to one. After a coupons and store specials, I ended up picking up two of these Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balms for under $8. The color is vibrant and lasts a while, and it's virtually the same thing as Clinique. I will say, though, Clinique's moisturizing power is longer/stronger.

These arent glossy at all. They remind me of a crayon shaped cheap lipstick and they smell like waxy crayon! I thought I would be able to at least use them without a mirror like a regular lipbalm ...but they dont go on very evenly at all so you have to use a mirror with them. Just meh.
I have always wanted to try the Clinique Chubby Sticks, and came close to purchasing one once, but they just didn't have any colors I was particularly interested in. So of course, when drugstore brands began releasing similar products, I decided to try one of those instead. After not seeing any colors I wanted from the Revlon line, nor any from the E.L.F. line, I saw a Covergirl display of these and immediately fell in love with the color Watermelon Twist. It's a bright pink, very summery. It looks lovely aganist my cool toned fair skin and brown hair. I line my lips first to make them look fuller, then apply this. The color can be sheer or full, depending on how you apply it. I prefer it to be more intense. There is really no glossy look with this, at least for me, so I'm not sure why it's called a jumbo GLOSS balm, but I don't mind too much. The only bone I have to pick with this is that I feel like it dries my lips out a bit. I have natrually dry lips though, so it's not like there's a huge difference or anything. Also, it will cling to dry areas, so if your lips are super chapped this is a no go. Overall, I love this and will be repurchasing. I have a feeling I'll be wearing it a ton come summer. The price is 6.99 at Target, but I got three dollars off. I think 7 dollars is a bit pricey for this, so watch the sales. And the packaging! It comes in a dark grey (?) tube with a cap the color of the balm. The other end is metallic silver. The balm itself twists up as you use more. I'm not sure what I'll do once the point its gone...it will just be a flat little stub and won't be as fun to apply, but I guess I'll just have to deal.
UPDATE 4/12/13: I don't know what happened, but after two days of using this, it stopped being dry and began feeling good and slightly moisturizing on my lips. Also, I can see a slightly glossy sheen from it now. I suppose it just needed to be 'boken in' a bit like some mascaras. Still a 4/5 though because I don't feel like it's an HG.

It was on sale so I decided to give it a try. I was going to get the watermelon twist but decided to go for something a bit brighter- haute pink twist. I love it! The colour is great. It is vibrant right away, you don't have to build it up like to get the bright pink colour. Very happy with it and I will definitely be re-purchasing! Wears well over a little lip balm too (which is a must for me).
