Generally a good BB cream with medium coverage and easy application.
I've been using this BB cream in "02 Natural" for quite a while now (I'm on my 3rd bottle). The colour fits my skintone perfectly. I use it as a substitute for my liquid foundation when I want something lighter.
However, with this product my skin gets shiny by the end of the day. This could be because it's really humid where I live. Lately, I've been getting pretty bad breakouts and I suspect this could be the cause, so I'm in search of something more suitable. I'll go back to using this when I'm travelling somewhere with a less humid climate.
Pros:
Love that this is in stick form, it's portable and easy to apply.
Contains salicylic acid
Goes on matte--feels powdery (silicones, I guess?)
Stays on for a decent amount of time
Cons:
Only two shades, immediately leaves a grey cast*
Smells bad (almost unbearable)--I think this is due to the salicylic acid and/or silicones
Can look plasticky/cakey
Color is chalky
Notes:
*It "oxidizes" after a while but I don't get why they have to make it this way
-I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY MAYBELLINE PHILIPPINES HAVE TO MAKE ONLY TWO SHADES OF THESE PRODUCTS. Would have been a good product but if, like me, you think bad color + bad smell = dealbreaker, then this product is not for you.
I've seen many negative reviews about this BB cream, but I personally think that it's not that bad. I like the fact that it contains SPF that gives my skin protection from sunlight, and that it gives me flawless-looking skin. Plus this is very cheaply sold here in the Philippines.
This product is quite amazing,it's sheer but still leaves my skin with glow and it's stays on pretty long.It also controls my oily skin so it makes my skin looks better. When I first apply it,it looks a bit matte but several hours later it leaves my skin looking quite dewy looking and not dull at all! It's also very natural,i'm stiill in school and we're not allowed to wear makeup but this really looks like second skin and nobody knows that im wearing makeup(haha).I'm in colour 01 fresh.i think it's better to apply it with your fingers cause using a brush can make it look cakey,so i took 1 lippy of because of that.I use just a bit of loose powder to set it and blot through the day,but it's still a staple for me :) i wont repruchase because i think im going to choose a foundation

I recently bought Maybelline BB stick fawn shade and I'm loving it. This 8 in 1 BB stick is my first BB product. It really does give flawless radiant skin & keeps face oil-free. I'm looking forward to buying the Radiance shade too. Overall its a good product and according to me, a must-have for the summers. continued >>
As a student and a teenager, this BB cream suits for me because it can cover my blemishes and controls the oiliness of my skin. It has SPF that controls my skin from the sunlight. It is easy and fast to use because you just need your bare hands and saves space to my bag. The disadvantage of this is it costs 150 Philippine pesos that makes my wallet hurt and it doesn't cover my pimples and eyebags and also the product runs easily when the oil starts accumulating.
I know everyone's skin is different but I don't understand the negative reviews. This stuff is AMAZING! I even got the wrong color (I have 02 Natural when I really should have gotten 01 Fresh) and it's still amazing. I don't know how Maybelline did it but they managed to make a BB cream that gives enough coverage where I need it (I have some fairly new acne scars, which are red and very prominent against my pale skin) but is blendable enough to look natural on the areas where I don't need as much coverage (not to mention blendable enough that I can get away with wearing the wrong color). I honestly didn't think that it was possible. My only complaint is that it's not sold here in the US, which aside from making it difficult to get, makes it pricier than other drugstore products (It's selling for around $15 on ebay and over $20 on amazon) - but it's worth it. Maybelline please please PLEASE bring this formulation to the US!!!

I got this right as the BB hype was prime and was really excited to try it but I was let down. It even out the skin a little bit but you still need foundation and setting powder or spray. The SPF is good but it really isn't worth it, basically it's a tinted moisturizer. They claim to brighten,Controls shine- Mineral clay formula helps keep skin shine-free all day
Lasts all day- Powder finish resists sweat and sebum up to 12 hours
Clears- Reduces the appearance of dark spots, redness, fine lines and wrinkleRefines- Reduces the appearance of pores
Conceals- Instantly hides flaws and imperfections
Evens- Corrects uneven skin tone
Smoothens- Makes skin feel smooth, soft and supple
Protects- SPF21/PA+++ protects harmful UVA and UVB rays.It def doesn't last all day or blur pores.
This is my very first BB Cream and I'm unsatisfied.
My skin tone is medium (i'm asian), and the saleslady offered shade 02 Natural to match my skin tone (it only offers 2 shades of color). Since the coolness of BB cream nowadays is really on the air, and since i'm a newbie on BB creams, i'm reaalllyy excited to use it.
But, BHAM. It doesn't last more than 2 hours, the coverage is REALLY thin, the product is runny. I don't think I could find any advantage of this product except the pretty cheap price.
