I really wanted to try a NARS blush, & instead of going for a peach one, which I would normally do, I decided to go for a pink, which I had been considering trying more of recently. Gaeity looks like a very bright, neon pink in the pan. On my skin, it looks like a warm candy pink. It's very pretty. I like how this blush is pigmented but sheer, so you can build it up in layers. It creates a very natural effect. The lasting power is not as good as my MAC blushes, surprisingly, but it still lasts quite a while. This is a very pretty blush that I think would work on all skin tones.
I was contemplating whether to get Gaeity or Desire, but seeing swatches of the bright, strong warm, and very pink Desire(I am bad at describing colors), I decided to get Gaeity instead and did not regret one bit! Its the only true, soft, pink blush I have and I am not planning to get another pink blush until I hit pan on this one. Yes! Its that serious! It looks natural and oh so pretty on my NC25-NC30 face. Love this blush and I take it everywhere I go. Wearability wise,it fades after 5 to 6 hours,oh well with the hot and humid weather like my country, its hard to keep the makeup in place. Everything just melts.. Love NARS! NARS junkie here.
I originally went into sephora purchase my first nars blush (yay!), after watching several tutorials I was CONVINCED that I wanted Orgasm. When I got it home and opened the box I compared it to my blush collection and found that when swatched it had the exact same pay off as my hot mama blush by the balm. Oh, the disappointment. The one thing I was lacking in my collection was a nice baby pink, and that is Gaiety. It a beautiful blue based baby pink. I have pretty fair skin but I tan in the summer and it looks excellent on my light/medium tanned skin. A great summer color. Just for reference I am NC15 in the summer and NC25 in the summer. I also found that this color looks excellent paired with Urban Decay e/s in side car, something about the colors look fabulous together :)
At first sight it looked so sugary I felt my teeth hurting. It appeared too similar to Desire to require a purchase. But my superb makeup artist gave it an endorsement and it turned out to be prize worthy. Not for all seasons, not for all occasions but perfect for now. It is a soft blue pink that is suitable for adults. Applied with the Yachiyo brush it makes a standout statement but in a whisper. Love it- Thank you Jenny!
