I have oily, acne-prone skin, sensitive to everything and anything i put on it. I tried this product the first time absolutely loving it- it removed all my makeup and left my skin feeling soft supple. I am mostly oily around the T-zone but after using this cleanser, it seemed to even everything out. However, after maybe a week i started to break out on my chin and forehead, BADLY. I thought, with almost every product: it will get worse before it gets better. But it got so bad i couldn't bring myself to use it anymore. I really wanted to love this product because i love Burt's Bees and I appreciate their effort in producing all natural products. But when it comes to their Radiance Cleanser with Royal Jelly, i will not be repurchasing.

I have been so pleasantly surprised by this! Love the pump both for convenience and sanitary concerns.
.
My skin:
oily T (shine-prone)
patchy dry spots that are most likely eczema, that can turn red and irritated if not babied
occasional breakouts on chin and forehead
sebaceous filaments on nose and chin
dark pores on nose
.
I have found regimens that help one or two of my skin complaints, but I've never seen improvement in ALL areas. Of course, cleanser is only part of the equation, but I tend to change only one variable (product) at a time until I find a great balance. This cleanser seems to have been the missing link in a near-perfect regimen.
.
BTW, this is the full regimen that's working wonderfully for me, and I couldn't be more relieved:
Burt's Bees Radiance facial cleanser with Royal Jelly
Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner with Aloe Vera (alcohol-free)
Natural Being Manuka Honey Day Cream
--argan oil to spot-treat drier patches
--acne.org benzoyl peroxide followed by neosporin to treat breakouts
.
Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion (10% Glycolic AHA) 1-2x weekly
Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay as a mask no more than once weekly to treat blackheads

This stuff is amazing. It cleanses perfectly, gets rid of make up efficiently (even mascara) and leaves the skin nice, clear and radiant. It isn`t drying and it is also gentle to the skin. The smell is quite... interesting it`s not pleasant but not too bad either. I will definitely repurchase and recommend this to everyone.

I bought this product a few days ago and have used it probably about once a day. I was hoping for something that would gently remove some of the oily resudue I have on my t-zone from summer, but at the same time not dry out the already dry spots unnder my eyes and on my cheeks. Its worked fairly nice, my skin doesn't feel overly dried. Something I noticed was yesterday I started to get a pimple under my nose near my upper lip so I washed my face last night with the cleanser and now the next morning its almost gone. So yes if it keeps working well I will definitely be re-purchasing. The packaging is pretty cute too, my only complaint is that with bottles like this usually there ends up being wasted product but oh well its worth it :)

I use this daily on my combination skin. I feel as if it makes my skin dry! Also I never see it do much for my acne.

I recently switched to this cleanser because it's more natural and free of parabens and chemicals and I have very sensitive skin. Have used it for a couple of days and so far I like it a lot. It's moisturizing and a very light foaming cleanser...doesn't dry out my skin like some other harsher cleansers. Since it's more natural as well, it's probably better for my skin than other cleansers. (I was using the Cetaphil normal to dry skin cleanser before--but realized that there's a lot of chemicals in it that are bad for your skin so thus I switched to this one) =)

Smell was very mild and soothing. Texture of the product was smooth and medium thick (like hand lotion). It cleansed my face nicely without stripping it dry. Makeup was fully removed too (even eye makeup). This is one of my favorite cleansers for daily use (I'm also a fan of Mario Badsecu). After using the "Simple" product line I found my skin congested, dry, and uneven, so I needed a new cleanser ASAP. I feel my skin has improved in the two weeks I've been using Burt Bee's Radiance Facial Cleanser w/ Royal Jelly. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and I will continue to use this in rotation with my Mario Badescu products.

my skin:
fair, combination, acne-prone, mild pigmentation and scarring from acne/ sun, and is sensitive due to use of an AHA, BHA, Retin-A, TAz, and TCA peels. (yes, i know, i fry my face off ;)

i find that post-peel or sometimes just if my skin's feeling tender/dry/particularly sensitive i need a wash thats more hydrating. I normally use Paula's CHoce Balancing Cleanser and i LOVE it for regular use, but when i was something that offers more moisture, i gran either this or BB's Orange essence oil cleanser. i find thatthe royal jelly in this is very soothing, but also that the tiny little beads in this exfoliate away the dry skin without irritating at ALL. this has no offensive smell, and leaves my skin softer after i get out of the shower.
my only complaint is the packaging-- i understand that its a thin formula, so a pump is necessary, but i imagine when i get the the end of the bottle it'll be hard to get out.
will definately re-buy in the future though!

I believe that this is the same as the radiance facial cleanser rated by others, but I wanted to provide my two cents to this post which is lacking in feedback. Overall, I was disappointed. For starters, the fragrance is quite strong and artificial smelling. I would expect this with another commercial line but not one that touts it "natural" quality. I was also less than thrilled in its effects on my skin and eyes. My skin felt clean, but it did not feel fresh as it does when I wash with most any department store or drug store brand. My eyes stung for quite a while, but I'm not sure if it was the cleansing agents or the fumes from the fragrance that made my eyes turn red. Basically, I can only liken my experience to the time I washed my face with Irish Spring when I was seven: it's fine for the feet but not for the face.
