I think i was expecting more of a black w/ purple but to me this looks like a dark purple w/ glitter. Its really pretty & actually a color i was looking for oddly enough so even though this wasn't what i expected its still a winner & i love it <3 (tried this dry over TF primer & epoxy) continued >>
This is a beautiful, dramatic, multidimensional color. Freya has a black base topped with purple and pink shimmer. As odd as that may sound, it's really a gorgeous combination, and comes off as a deep, deep purple with an almost duochromatic effect. The black anchors it and the shimmers make it pop with color. As a liner, it's truly to die for. Used just with water, the liner stays all day on top of primer and shadow. Swept on the lids dry, the color is a muted matte black with a slight, slight purple and pink iridescence. Patted on dry, the pink and purple shimmers are kicked up a notch, with a black base anchoring the overall effect. Swept/patted on wet, it morphs into a lovely black overlaid by vivid purple shimmer, topped with fuschia highlights. All of the various incarnations of this color are stunning, and it's versatility is amazing. I can wear it day or night, for work or play depending on my mood. Today I wore it as a liner with a very neutral eye (Cheeky--a soft pink champagne color--all over the lid, with Atomic Afterglow--a cool, mid-toned taupe--in the crease) and the effect was stunning. It was just enough color to make my brown eyes really "pop" without being over the top. I truly love this gorgeous color! Another win for the guys at Fyrinnae!
