Hmmm, not crazy about this product. I have fine-to-medium hair that's very thick, cut short in the back and sides and long on the top. I find that this gives my hair absolutely no hold. OK, wait. I get hold for about a half hour, then it's gone. If I use too little, there's absolutely no hold, but if I use too much, my hair just looks lank and greasy. In any case, it doesn't work well, although I like the scent. I will not repurchase.

I have super fine hair that is prone to fly-aways. My stylist introduced me to this product as a solution. I take a small dab, rub it between my fingers, and barely make contact with my hair to smooth down fly-aways. Just be careful not to get too much - it can get a bit stick yon thin/fine hair. I usually have about 5 seconds to work with it before it gets too sticky on my fingers. If you do it just right it is a great solution to fly aways! :-)

I really like this wax. I use a lot of Aveda products and this one is def getting added to to arson of Aveda products I love. I have a rather short texturized haircut and because my hair is so straight and course it's hard to get it to fall into place just right. It it has just about the right amount of hold and even holds up to a night out dancing without feeling to stiff. Just be sure not to put too much in. Less is more.

This is a great product- it performs exactly as the name says. It's light so it doesn't weigh your hair down at all or make it greasy, yet it's got some extremely lightweight waxes that separates your hair in the most relaxed manner. There is no shine to it so it just looks like your hair as is, but better, with subtle shape, definition and movement. I have medium hair that I like to wear natural sometimes, but my layers get concealed and a little frizzy if my hair is just air dried. This product separates them but still keeps everything clean, airy and relaxed, without any product-feeling whatsoever. It's really a great alternative to major styling especially when semi-wavy layered hair is all the rage now. I also foresee this working great when combined with beach hair sprays to give it some edge.
