I really enjoy using this bar. $40 may seem a lot, but it will last you a very long time! In the long run, this is more cost efficient than my previous face wash (Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel, one bottle for $32 and lasts for 3 months). It lathers very well, the foam is very creamy and rich. The product rinses off with no residue and leaves my face very clean and soft. Other face soaps like Dove is a lot cheaper and not bad, but this one does leave my skin feeling softer than Dove. If you want to make this product last longer, be sure to keep it in the container with the lid shut so that you don't waste product.

I've tried a bunch of products from this line because I liked the idea of all natural for my sensitive, sometimes break out prone skin. I think over the years I've stripped my skin with aggressive treatments, so I'm not sure what kind of skin type I have, but all I know is this made my skin so dry and tight. Then I broke out bad. I don't know why any soap claiming to be for dry skin can should have witch hazel as an ingredient. So what if it's a natural form of alcohol? Alcohol is dehydrating. This might be great for some, but it's definitely not for me!

I never in my life thought I would pay close to $40 for a bar of glycerin soap...but here I am writing a review for one... It's nice. It smells good. It lathers well. It rinses well. It leaves my skin smooth, balanced, and happy. But almost $40??? I'll enjoy it while I have it but once it's gone I won't repurchase.

Okay... this one is my second favorite cleansing bar. The Berry Fruit Bar is my staple. But I do have to say that I love this one too. It has a very pleasant sent and I love how it makes my skin feel. I have extremely sensitive, dry skin with an normal to oily nose, and I do not react to either of these bars. Now.. some people have a hard time using it and they say that it just sits in the jar and stays wet, which waists it. Well.. let me tell you what I do. I cut the bar like a pie into six sections. I take one section at a time and keep it in an extra jar high in my shover with the lid open. The piece of the bar dries out fairly quickly. I never have a problem with wasted product. Actually one full sized bar will last me about a year. I love it. Give it a try.

I agree with the last review. I have been using this for about a week and have noticed little breakouts along my neck and chest. I'm usually not sensitive to new products but have not given up on it since I have only been using it for a week and my skin may still be transitioning.
It is expensive for a cleanser but it does look like it will last a very long time. I fell in love with Arcona's cranberry exfoliator and I am determined to love this as well.
I'll check back in a few weeks and see if the breakouts have subsided. If they do this product is well worth the price!

First of all, I love the smell! Cheers me up in the morning ;) The bar lathers nicely and lasts a long time (I've had it for about 4 months already). As someone suggested in one of the reviews for the other bars, it's best that you cut off little pieces so that it doesn't get all messy.
While I liked this bar at first and it seemed to be really good for my skin, I fell out of love. Lately I think it's been contributing to my breakouts :((( It also leaves my face feeling a bit dry and tight. Maybe it's the weather? Who knows. It makes me not want to try the others though, not for $40.... oh well
