In Germany in 2008, Zoe Boikou began searching for high-quality makeup brushes at an affordable price. After she found brushes from Canada that fit the bill, she began to sell them on ebay. This slowly grew into a larger business, and Zoeva Cosmetics was born. The company makes great use of social media to promote its line of brushes and cosmetics and the products are available online.

Makeup Brushes -Zoeva -142 Concealer Buffer

on 11/3/2018 1:34:00 AM

I think this is the first time I'm ever giving a 5 star review without even thinking twice!

This brush is my HG, I can use it to blend out my undereye concealer or pack on primer on my eyelids and it blends like a dream. The size of the handle is just right, and the brush is dense yet firm enough to blend products out without much difficulty; only occasionally I would find myself to double "blend" with my beauty blender. It all takes less than 2 mins.

It prices at $21 in my country; at first glance I thought it was expensive, but why not since I had seen such good reviews.

I'm glad to say this is $21 well spent!!! Never once regretted it.

Another + point: I've washed this multiple times and NEVER ONCE has it shed on me. WHAT?!?!?!?
+100 brownie points!!

This is coming from a person who once started off makeup by buying all "inspired" brushes. And I'm not a beauty guru who owns multiple brushes in many holders lol. Most of the inspired brushes either shed within the 1st year despite taking good care of it or they go out of shape; not that I've had extreme high expectations of inspired brushes, but they do its job to say the very least.

Even the authentic ELF brushes I've owned do not last as long as this brush.

I've owned Coastal scents brushes as well which used to be really popular back in those days, but the brushes have gone out of shape as well after a few uses.

I think its safe to say that you really pay for the price you get, and it just about sums up my overall review of this brush - AMAZING!

If you're on a budget I don't think you need to go all out to purchase all of their brushes, but this buffer brush is definitely one of the the must buys on my recommendations. I'm totally buying another piece like this from this brand soon!

Hope this review helps!

Makeup Brushes -Zoeva -110 Face Shape

on 10/21/2018 1:28:00 PM

I can't lie, I bought this because Lisa Eldridge uses it in all her videos and I'm a bit of a Lisa stan. Now she uses it as a face brush with medium coverage foundations to buff them out and soak up extra product to make the coverage lighter after applying it with fingers, and it is indeed very good at doing that as long as the particles in the foundation were finely milled. I also like spritzing it with a little finishing spray and using it to apply powder highlighter so that the finish is natural. I have no doubt it would be great with cream or liquid highlighter too. The shape is nice and even and small enough to get anywhere you want it. It handles well, cleans well, keeps its shape, doesn't shed, is dense but not too dense, and feels as soft as synthetic bristles can -- I have no complaints and I would absolutely buy it again if I lost it. In fact, I might buy it again regardless so that I can have one for foundation and one for highlighting.

Eyes -Zoeva -rose golden palette

I love the Zoeva Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette, it´s European quality not made in China like most of the overhyped brands. If you want to know what you can create with it watch my videos :)

Eyeliner -Zoeva -Graphic eyes

on 6/14/2018 10:46:00 AM

My all time favorite eye pencils! I have these in five different colours: black, nude reflection, myth, taupe and good karma. Except the black one they all have a beautiful, fine shimmer. They are very creamy, so when it's summer/hot inside, be careful not to press too hard and accidentally smudge it all over your eyelids. They stay on all day, are easy to smudge when just applied, and dry afterwards to a very, very longlasting finish, and: no fall-out/transfer of shimmers to your face.
The downsides: 1) the outside of the pencil is hard/plastic, so they are a little difficult to sharpen with a pencil sharpener without taking too much off (waste) or leave little tags of the plastic casing (not very nice near your eyes). 2) They are so creamy (not all colors, but especially good karma) that sometimes it's hard to create a precise, thin line because of the blunt point. 3) You have to take your time to take them off in the evening due to the shimmer 4) Some colors are more prone to transfer to my upper eye/brow bone (I have hooded eyes and oily skin).

Eyes -Zoeva -black box

on 5/14/2018 11:09:00 AM

The Black Box contains a selection of four shades of black Zoeva eyeliners:

Calli Graphic Liquid Eyeliner in Black.
Cat Eye Pen in Blackest Black.
Graphic Eyes+ in Black to Earth.
Soft Kohl Eyeliner in Noir.

However, from all of these I experience smudging, possibly because I have droopy eyelids, but I do use primers and I do not like my eyeliner to smudge and I would like to find a better one when I am wearing eyeliner alone. However, with tons of eyeshadow it can pass really good, especially because the pencils from waterline will smudge below your lower lashes and pen eyeliner you have to apply nicely to have totally black line.
