This cream has been an absolute godsend this winter. I had a bad reaction to a serum and this is the ONLY skincare product I could put on my face for a week as everything else made my skin burn. Add that to the fact that it moisturizes like a dream and you have one heck of a great product. I recommend this to everyone, and especially those with sensitive skin.

I had never even heard of Youth to the People until a few days ago when I stumbled across the brand on Sephora's website and this oil instantly caught my eye. After a fairly mild winter, we've suddenly been hit by brutal cold temps. Yesterday it was -19 (and that's Celsius, for those of you still not into metric) and felt like -29 with the wind-chill). So forget "winter is coming" - winter is here with a vengeance and I feel like I'm living at The Wall! I have loved facial oils for at least 20 years, starting with Clarins Blue Orchid and progressing on through to Boscia, Kiehl's, Josie Maran, Algenist and more....you get the picture! They are such a lovely addition to my skin care, especially at this time of year. And as I am almost out of my Clarins oil, I thought I might try something different. I'm not sure whether to categorize this as a "treatment" or "moisturizer". The ingredients sound more like a fruit salad than something for your face - acai and gojii berry, prickly pear and something called maqui. I've no idea what "maqui" is but it's supposed to be amazing! Anyway, this oil is absolutely lovely to use. It is very soothing and it penetrates quickly, without leaving an unpleasant oil slick behind. It allows my moisturizer (currently Astral cream or Embryolisse) to soak in as well and even on its own, it is very effective. Packaging is simple but functional - a frosted glass bottle with a slim glass dropper that fits back into the bottle without wasting any product, unlike so many other dropper bottles. There is the faintest orange/creamsicle fragrance that is barely noticeable at all and is gone in moments. I'm so pleased with this oil that I now want to try more products from the Youth to the People line

I have all of the Youth to the People products and I usually enjoy their ingredient selection, and for me I've the new Superberry Hydrate and Glow Dream Mask is the same. I love that they have kept the ingredient list reasonable in length and also included many great antioxidants, like vitamin c and b, squalane, goji berry and more. Since this comes in a clear jar package I just keep it in my cabinet so it isn't in full light view on my counter. I've found that this mask layers pretty well and gives skin nice hydration that I find both dry and oily skin can appreciate. My only concern is that it does contain a little fragrance, although I will say that it doesn't have much of a noticeable scent so that was a good thing. I wanted to like this! I like this brand, and other products in the line-up, but this mask did nothing for me. It's very thick, and goes on smoothly. As it dries it does start to have an invigorating feeling (nothing harsh), and washed off easily....but....no visible impact on my skin. My skin felt soft, but nothing dramatic. It's apparently supposed to help with uneven texture, and visibly firm the skin. Nope. In fairness, I don't have visibly saggy skin (!), but still - I expected to see some sort of result that would make this mask worthwhile. I paid $55 CAD at Sephora, and wouldn't re-purchase. Will definitely try other products in their line-up, but this one missed the mark for me.
