Skincare - Face -Yes To -Carrots Yes To Tomatoes Activated Charcoal Bar Soap

on 4/15/2018 4:47:00 PM

I'm looking for a new cleanser to help with my oily skin and have tried both high end and drugstore cleansers that actually make the problem worse by drying my skin out too much. Not this one. This doesn't dry my skin at all so that alone makes it worth the money. It does a great job of removing the rest of my makeup and making my skin feel very clean.

I went to walmart looking for the liquid version of this soap but they didn't have it. I feel like the bar is actually a better value anyway, it's under $4 while the liquid is nearly $10. It's big and is going to last a long time. I do have one complaint about it and that is the very strong scent. I don't mind fragrance in my cleanser as long as it's subtle and fresh smelling. To me this smells kind of like air freshener, so I don't enjoy that. Luckily it doesn't irritate my skin or hang around for very long after washing.

Overall I do like it, but once it's gone I'm probably going to look into another brand or maybe a home made version with less fragrance. If that doesn't bother you though this a great cleanser!

Treatments (Eye) -Yes To -Yes To Grapefruit Dark Circle Correcting Eye Cream

I've been using this product for about 3 months now and it really worked wonders on my dark circles.

I have very fair skin and prominent dark circles under my eyes - so a good eye cream is vital to my routine. I use this product twice a day, but I found it worked best for me when used at night before going to bed - I wake up with refreshed eyes and no dark circles, which is miraculous for me.
I also apply it in the morning, but I feel it doesn't add as much to my eyes.

However, I feel this product has 2 drawbacks:
1. It has a weird consistency, making it uneven to massage into skin, but I overcome this by slightly tapping it under my eyes, leaving for a minute and then massaging it until fully absorbed into skin
2. It stops working the moment I stop using it. If I forget to apply it one night, it is visibly noticeable the day after, which is something I haven't experienced with other eye creams before

Eye Makeup Remover -Yes To -Yes To Cucumbers Eye Makeup Removing Pads

on 4/6/2018 9:08:00 PM

These pads work well to remove waterproof makeup. I use one on each eye to do the job. They are gentle on the skin around my eyes. My skin is sensitive and I have never had a reaction to these remover padss. I purchased the jar with 45 round pads. Don't use these if you have scent allergies. They are lightly scented and with a mild cucumber-like fragrance.

Treatments (Face) -Yes To -Yes To Tomatoes Acne Treatment Spot Stick

on 3/22/2018 11:10:00 AM

I use this product when I can feel a pimple developing under the skin but it hasn’t matured enough to come to a head. This spot stick with 2% salicylic acid does seem to prevent the area from developing into a big red painful pimple if used a few times a day, so I like that. I’m not in love with this spot stick simply because I much prefer preventative treatments, but when a pimple slips through that net, I’m glad I have this roller ball stick. Due to the salicylic acid, the product will make skin very dry if overapplied, but as it’s not meant to be used on large areas of under face, that has never bothered me. The salicylic acid stings my skin a little but not much. Overall, I like this product (assuming one can find a place that still sells it!).

Conditioner -Yes To -Scalp Relief Tea Tree & Sage (Green) Oil Conditioner

on 3/20/2018 10:18:00 PM

My hair is straight, long, and tends to be on the oily side at my scalp, but dry on the ends. Shampoos with lots of SLS make my scalp itchy so I can't use them often. Mostly just once a week as a clarifying shampoo. I got this stuff to follow up the clarifying shampoo. This stuff blew me away! I've been using it for a month and it makes my hair SO soft without making it ever feel slippery or waxy like some other conditioners do. Those tangles I used to get are pretty much gone. Just to warn though- this stuff smells strongly like sage and tea tree oil. It's not a take on the scent like Organix does with their Tea Tree Mint line (which I love). It smells like the real thing. I kinda like it and even if I didn't, the smell doesn't seem to stick around in an overwhelming sort of way.
