This is the only lotion that has ever swayed me into regularly moisturizing in even the hottest, most humid, most miserable days of summer. And that is no small feat. Right off the bat, it does have a pretty strong coconut scent, but I don't mind it (it doesn't smell particularly fake/saccharine, which helps), and there is some lasting power on the skin. I've also noticed if I put the lotion on after I've already gotten partially dressed, the scent really clings to the fabric. I don't think it is particularly overpowering, but I wouldn't wear additional scents on top of this. I think it would be a bit much. The lotion itself is surprisingly thin, so be careful when dispensing it, but it sinks in incredibly quickly, and leaves my skin feeling wonderful. I don't get any kind of heavy, filmy residue, or have the need to rub it in for twelve years before that white cast disappears. This really does its job: moisturizes. I think I'll switch back to something more substantial come winter, but it has been a saving grace this summer. I picked it up for about $10 at Whole Foods, which isn't so bad at all. I also like that the bottle itself is clear, so I can see exactly how much I have left.

A very gentle soap, the scent is reminiscent of the lotion but not exactly the same. It is very soft and gets used up very quickly (think I used it up in about a week or two), so for the price I paid (4 dollars?) quite expensive.

I used this throughout my pregnancy and it did nothing to keep stretch marks away. I'm fine with that, as I know stretch marks are common with pregnant women. However, my daughter, who is now 4 years old is extremely allergic to all nuts. I'm not sure if this oil was the culprit, but I've heard that expecting mothers should keep away from ingesting or using any type of nut products on their skin. Wish I had known this back then. My daughter has had 1 trip to the emergency room, 1 emergency 911 call, and numerous allergic reactions (from other kids giving her peanut candies). We can't keep nuts of any kind in the house and have to be extremely careful to warn others not to give her anything with nuts in it. I would stay away from this oil if you are expecting. Better safe than sorry!

If you like glossy or slick lip balms you will probably hate this, but this is hands down my favorite lip balm ever. It is very, very waxy and it leaves a nice satin, almost-matte finish on your lips. I wear it just with lip liner and it stays in place for hours. I have them stashed all over the house and nothing works better for keeping my lips from getting dry.

This is a protein based shampoo which contains pathenol & apple cider vinegar. It's very cleansing and clarifying, but on me that also translated as very drying. I can see this working well for someone who has fine or thinning hair that is also oily, but it makes my hair a little too dry and tangled. It does smell very light, natural and herbal. This cost about $6 plus shipping.
