Moisturizers -Mineral Fusion -Nighttime Recovery Face Cream

on 6/21/2018 5:40:00 AM

I have very sensitive skin, prone to rashes (eczema and seb derm) and dry, yet still clog-prone. I can't use anything with chemical sunscreen, fragrance (including "natural"), or essential oils, including the citrus ones now in many products. When I first came across this in the store, I skimmed the ingredients, thinking that "of course" I'd come across one that'd be a "no go" for me. After carefully re-reading several times, I didn't find any of "the usual suspects," and I'm always looking for a new product I *might* be able to use, so I got it, still without much hope it'd work for me.

While it's not perfect, and due to some AHAs I can't use it daily, it has become a staple in my skincare routine. It works well at night, but I really like it under makeup; for being highly moisturizing/rich, it's not greasy and has a relatively matte texture once it sinks in. My other under makeup moisturizer is MyChelle Gentle Day Cream.

Blush -Mineral Fusion -Blush

Gorgeous color. Did not expect such a result. Wanted only to cancel out the red in my cheeks & get a nude/neutral sort of color. Color-wise: the blush being so sheer, some of the red still comes through, but I can deal with this; I get a beautiful, natural, appealing glow, though--not just a nude or an apricot.

The packaging is a little hard to open. But I like how it is small and light.

The price is hefty--you don't get a lot of blush for your money.

Can MF rid their blushes of phenoxyethanol, please? I am not repurchasing only because of this ingredient. (Period. Despite the nice color. Han makes a similar blush, called "Glory", with even better ingredients, & at a crazy-great price point: $16.00! You get more blush, too.)

Lipstick -Mineral Fusion -Sheer Moisture Lip Tint

I picked up one of these in Glisten a few months ago at my local Hyvee store. I find myself migrating towards tinted balms lately and thought I would give it a try.

This is a very sheer pinky nude color, not much color payoff but I don't think that is the intent with this shade anyway which is why I like it. It just applies a tint of color and hint of shine. I find myself wearing this a lot on the weekends when I keep things really simple.

It is pricey, I paid $9.99 for it but has good ingredients which I really appreciate. I have read other reviews on the packaging where the cap is not stable, so far I have not had that issue but I don't carry this with me either, probably for that reason. I personally like the chubby stick or pencil style, it's reminds me of a crayon I guess.

Would I buy this again? Yes, I would. The price is a little steep, this is actually the most expensive lip product I own. Others have commented on the mint ingredient being drying, I have experienced that with other products but so far not this one. If I were to have an issue with that it would be the only reason I would not buy again.

Overall, I give this 4 and a half stars. I may try one of the other colors at some point.

Why did I buy this ? Does not last through a full 8 hour work day. Not even with primer, powder or mattifier. If you sweat just a little bit you have makeup running down your face! Also it does not blend, just sits on your face and the color matches are horrible.

Lip Gloss -Mineral Fusion -Lipstick Butter

on 2/5/2018 5:05:00 PM

This lipstick butter feels so dang good on your lips and doesn’t dry them out. I started with the color Ripe based on a review here and I have purchased 4 more colors. This is my go to lipstick right now so I run out frequently. I feel the amount you get is small compared to price but the formula is worth it. I will be a frequent purchaser
