I'm a big believer in cleansing balms, just love the ritual and the results. I'm also convinced that I get much fewer breakouts after starting using balms instead of milks, cleansing is just more throughout. Of course couldn't miss Darphin's luxurious offering.Let me tell you, at first I hated it. I was used to applying the balms on dry skin, massage and then add water to emulsify and rinse. This one would not melt properly, feel so sticky and would literally have to drag it around my face. A great amount would be required and my skin would be left irritated. Then I decided to follow the instructions on the packaging and apply it on wet face. That's when it started working! It does remove makeup as a first cleanse - I always follow with a gentle foaming face wash afterwards - and the ylang ylang scent ia just heavenly.Overall I'd say it's a good product although I prefer balms used on dry skin since it's less messy, withought water dripping around. Also it's puzzlingly expensive - 36€ - for the 40ml you get. The Body Shop's offering which is a firm favourite of mine is around half the price for double the amount and Clinique's TTDO Balm cones in a huge tub 5x the amount of Darphin's. Might get it again sometime since I loved the scent but won't be anything soon.

I am Asian with very thin and sensitive skin. I use this nectar after the Darphin's Stimulskin Plus Mask Lotion, and I can see the improvement for only one-week usage. My skin is finer and smoother, and my husband who didn't know I have changed my routine keeps telling me I look younger. I will definitely recommend this product to girls with dry skin.

This Niaouli oil is surprisingly absorbent despite it being known as conventionally thick. Darphin definitely gets the consistency down with their oils. however I would not repurchase since I don't feel like it made a difference to my skin aside from making it Glow for a few hours after applicationIt's almost as if a lot of Darphin oils are easy to apply and feel nice on the skin for a while, but don't do much of a real Improvement long-term.

What a gorgeous product. The scent is lovely and the texture is amazing. Its great at hydrating and soothing skin, even the most driest of skins. This is pricey but its such a gorgeous product that its hard to pass up.

The Darphin Nourishing and Firming Velvet Cream is lovely. It melts into the skin and makes the skin nice and supple. I used it when I get out of the shower and briefly towel dry my skin. I then put the cream on my damp skin. I also sometimes use it with a small bit of olive oil. The product makes the skin really silky. I found out about the product when I use other Darphin products such as the aromatic seaweed bath and shower gel and the perfecting body scrub. The product doesn't have a heavy scent and it dissipates throughout the day. The jar isn't fancy - but a very heavy plastic, which works perfectly for the bathroom.I tend to purchase Darphin products when specialty, product stores have 30 percent off sales. All in all, lovely and will purchase again.
