Cleansers -CeraVe -Foaming Facial Cleanser

on 2/20/2018 11:55:00 PM

this is my hg cleanser, i've tried to use other ones but i always come back to this. this was the first gentle facial cleanser i ever used, and my acne decreased by about half just from using this instead of a soapier cleanser. i have normal to oily skin and this cleanser gets EVERYTHING off, any makeup left from my first cleanse, but doesn't strip skin. it seems expensive but one bottle lasts forever.

Sunscreen -CeraVe -Skin Renewing Day Cream SPF 30

I have used Olay complete for years and I thought it would be a good time to switch it up. This cream is thicker, which I prefer. I also like that it has stronger SPF. It makes my skin soft and keeps it hydrated and healthy-looking. I use the Cerave skin renewing night cream as well, and I really like the combination of them together. This is my new regular face cream!

Skincare - Face -CeraVe -Hydrating Micellar Water

on 2/19/2018 2:50:00 PM

i adore cerave as a brand so i was extremely excited to try this micellar water as a first cleanser to remove makeup. i only got to test it once because it caused me searing pain in my eyes when i tried to take off my eye makeup with it. like i couldn't see, and i had to flush my eyes with water before i could even finish taking my makeup off. a lot of micellar waters make my eyes burn but this is absolutely the worst one.

Moisturizers -CeraVe -Skin Renewing Gel Oil

on 2/19/2018 8:10:00 AM

I was a bit annoyed with myself for buying this, as I am addicted to the healing ointment in the tube, which seems a much better bargain than this small pump bottle for $22.99 in Target. I live in a cold, (negative seven degrees this morning) dry climate, and if I don’t use the healing ointment at night, my dry skin is very tight.

The consistency of this gel-cream is different. It’s thinner and easier to spread. I find that I’ve been using it every day as my day moisturizer, over an HA serum and The Ordinary 2% SA. I avoid the eye area, so my makeup doesn’t smear, and lightly blot with a tissue before foundation. Like the ointment, I think this product does an excellent job of protecting the lipid barrier. I have somewhat reactive skin, and have suffered no breakouts. I think it will be a seasonal product for me. One less lippie for the crazy price discrepancy-but it’s actually worth it.

Moisturizers -CeraVe -Facial Moisturizing Lotion - PM

on 2/18/2018 6:52:00 PM

This cream is so moisturizing for flaky winter skin. The price is moderate at 16 dollars, so you would have to decide if it is worth it for you. But, my skin felt softer and less irritated the next day. The ingredients seem really nice and emollient, and it didn't break me out even though a lot of beauty products do. Use if if you have dry skin or to pair with an AHA or underneath makeup.
