The photo shown here is misleading - the shade is not nearly as pink as that photo makes it look. It's a plummy MLBB with a gorgeous moist satin finish that's amazingly comfortable for having so much pigmentation. The biggest negative is staying power - it has none. The formula never sets and transfers all over the place. It lasted one hour (admittedly I was having a cup of tea but way more of it was on the cup than my mouth after five minutes). I took off two lippies for the fact that you have to reapply it constantly - at this price, they should have worked out a more tenacious formula.

In one word... disappointing. Seriously disappointing. There is very little scrub to balm ratio, like the sugar crystals must dissolve in the oil because there are so few it’s ridiculous. You can make a DIY and get better results or pay a few bucks for the e.l.f. lip scrub which will remove any and all dry skin from your lips leaving them ultra soft and smooth. Ok, that one might be a little too aggressive on the lips but you will get a plumped effect temporarily from the exfoliation. In any case, do not waste your money on this scrub from Bite, it’s just not worth it. I got mine (Agave Sugar lip scrub) in the kit with the mask and the balm which are both good products, the scrub is a fail though.

I generally really like Bite lip products (cruelty free, food grade ingredients, Canadian!) so I knew I had to give this a try when it launched. First of all, you need to know that this is not a matte liquid lipstick. Like the name says, it's literally a liquified lipstick so it isn't transfer proof and it doesn't dry down. Think of a way more moisturizing version of the too faced melted liquified long wear lipstick (the one in the squeezy tube with the sponge applicator).I actually think it lasts very well for what it is. It's VERY pigmented and highly moisturizing on my lips. The consistency is somewhat thick but I can easily deal with that given all the benefits I just mentioned (plus I think it helps prevent bleeding). I bought the holiday 4 piece mini lip set and I still can't get over the pigmentation and vividness of the shades, even the nudes! I dont typically use lip liner and I dont really need to with this one as long as I don't over apply the product. I got mine during the VIB rouge sale but Sephora has the set on sale right now for $17 CAD (plus another 20% off until the end of the year!) and you get 4 shades. They all work out well on my NC25 skintone. I highly recommend you check these out if any of the above intrigues you.

I love it when brand come up with multiple-use products like this one. I adore Bite and knew I would enjoy the formula. You can basically use these sticks as blush, lipstick and eyeshadow. Formula dries down matte, so it has a better lasting power than most cream products available on the market. I bought mine in the shade Lotus, you can see more swatches here (http://www.partyparrotblog.com/single-post/2017/12/12/Sephora-Favourites-December-2017) and it is a beautiful neutral pink which is perfect for that soft monochromatic look. I often use it as a base underneath my pink/mauve shadows and this way they look brighter and last all day long. You can apply the same technique to any other colour in the range, options are endless. Quality is great. As a lipstick these look more matte than Amuse Bouche range though.

Really chapped lips this winter all my regulars were not helping. My lips just hurt, stinging. Went to Sephora and they recommended this. At $26 it had better work or they are getting back! One day of use no more stinging lips soft and chapping almost gone except for lip line. I’m allergic to lipstick two days continuous use, big fat fever blister. Bite lipstick is one brand I have been able to wear infrequently without a breakout. My fear with this product is it will not continue to produce results. My beloved aquaphor failed me this time. Only more time will tell for this product. Yes tube is a pain. My solution tuck in Jean pocket warms product and squeezed out fine. Price big con but if it works will be worth it. Won’t try colored versions with my luck I’ll be allergic!
