Masks - Mizon - Joyful Time Rose Sheet Mask - Pore Care & Moisturizing

Meh.

Nice sheet mask but nothing special. Reasonably priced, pleasant rose scent. My skin was adequately moisturized after using this, although it was a bit sticky for quite some time. I didn't notice a difference in the appearance of my pores, which was a bit disappointing.

My favorite sheet mask to date has been the TonyMoly Rice Sheet Mask, it really seems to …

I loooove this!

I can't tell you the last time I tried a new hair product that I loved, so this is a big deal. :)

Me: thin hair but a LOT of it, easily weighed down by products, high porosity, not in bad condition bc I only color twice a year and don't use any heat styling tools, 2b waves that frizz or go straight

Started a modified version of the …

Treatments (Face) - OzNaturals - Vitamin C + AHA Facial Serum

I've been trying scads of affordable vitamin C serums lately, and I think I've found my HG in this product!

I have aging, dehydrated, oily and acne-prone skin. My skin reacts well to vitamin C - I've never had a bad reaction so far. My quest has been to find something effective for the lowest price possible.

I was already using a BHA product to help with …

Masks - Masqueology - Jeju Volcanic Ash Sheet Mask

I have liked almost all of the sheet masks I've tried so far, with my favorite being the TonyMoly I'm Real Rice sheet mask for clear skin.

I saw this at Walmart and decided to try it because it was the first sheet mask I saw that said the magic words (...help reduce blemishes and pores). Korean and Japanese sheet masks usually only focus on nurturing the skin and …

Lotions/ Creams - Vaseline - Intensive Care Deep Moisture Vaseline Jelly Cream

Decent, but did not blow me away...

I've been searching for a decent hand cream for winter use and thought I'd try this due to the reasonable price. I like the tube with a flip cap and unscented can be a bonus. However, it's so greasy for a while that I can only use this at night before bed. I apply and then put on cotton gloves so it seals in the moisture and …

Lotions/ Creams - Unlisted Brand - O'Keeffe's Working Hands

Not a fan...

I bought this in the tube - more convenient, hygienic, easier to travel with. The only good thing I can say is that there is no scent, which some people prefer and the price and availability make it cheap and convenient.

The packaging is ugly and the product itself is greasy. In fact, it leaves my hands greasy enough to leave marks on folders and papers at …

Mascara - COVERGIRL - Clump Crusher Extensions LashBlast Mascara

I seem to be in the minority here, but this didn't seem like a great mascara to me.

The formula seems too dry and doesn't seem to lengthen my lashes much at all. I don't like the tube because it's so chunky, making it easy to fumble while applying.

I don't curl my lashes so I can't speak to that.

The applicator itself isn't …

Cleansers - Pond's - Makeup Remover Cleansing Balm

I have very oily but dehydrated, acne-prone, aging skin, and I ALWAYS wear a full face of makeup. Cleansing balms scared me for a long time and there was no way I would chance the oil cleansing method.

When I finally took the plunge into double cleansing, it was with the Banila Cleansing Balm with Resveratrol. After getting past the feeling of actually smearing greasy stuff all over …

Misc Beauty Tools - Unlisted Brand - BrushEgg

This is a good tool to have on hand.
Very simple concept - slip this silicone, egg-shaped tool around 2 fingers of one hand while using the other to stroke your brush bristles against the firm nubbies to clean your makeup brushes effectively.
I paid about $8 on Amazon and find this works well and feels very sturdy. The only complaint is the nubbies are difficult to rinse clean once …

Misc Beauty Tools - Unlisted Brand - Beauty Cube Makeup Brush Drying Rack

You get what you pay for.
I've been greedily eyeing makeup brush racks for quite some time. Anything to make washing my brushes easier and quicker, because I am really bad about not doing it often.
Most of the ones I saw online start at $20 and go up from there. I happened upon this in Walmart and for the price (approx $5), I just couldn't pass it up.
It's well …
