Eyeliner - MAC Cosmetics - Fluidline - Nightfish from Lure Collection

I don't know what happened, but Nightfish used to appear a brown-black with slight gray tones on me, and I loved it. Now, it's an odd gray, almost similar to Lithograph, which just doesn't work on my coloring. Sad because I had been using it 3-4 times a week.

Cleansers - shu uemura - Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O

5.0

Jan/26/2008

This cleansing oil is expensive but so worth it. I pump a small bit into the palm of my hand, about a quarter size, and massage it into my face and eye area. I can literally see my foundation rinse off, melting into a somewhat milky texture. I then splash my face with water and follow with a mild cleanser (currently using Philosophy Purity, another great love). I used to use makeup wipes for …Read more

Eye Shadow - wet n wild - Lustrous Neutrals Palette

5.0

Jan/24/2008

I absolutely hated Wet 'n' Wild's Sandcastle palette and found Paradise Cove only OK. My main issue is that I found those eyeshadows and shades far too frosty. I decided to give Lustrous Neutrals a shot since a store by me was having a 50 percent off sale on the WnW line. Whereas the first reviewer here was not a fan because the shades were too matte, that personally is why I am …Read more

Makeup Brushes - Everyday Minerals - New Flat Top Brush

4.0

Nice, soft and not bad at all for $10, but I wish it was a tad denser. I much prefer the long-handled kabuki. Works well for illuminating pressed powders though, so I love it for that purpose. However, I will not repurchase and wouldn't be too angry if I lost it.

Makeup Brushes - Everyday Minerals - Long handled Kabuki

An absolute steal for $10 given the excellent quality. The long-handled kabuki is insanely soft. It's not dense enough to use with mineral foundation, in my opinion, but I love it for blush. I've had mine for about six weeks, wash it every 2-3 days, and it has yet to shed a hair and has maintained the shape. I've already purchased a second one.

Treatments (Face) - Unlisted Brand - MaMa Lotion [DISCONTINUED]

5.0

Jan/23/2008

***Angels Singing*** I'm absolutely in love with MaMa lotion. I have clear skin, but I have a horrible habit of picking at any clogged pore or bump that crops up -- this leaves me with small spots of hyperpigmentation as they heals. Concealer can only cover so much. I read up on MaMa lotion and decided to try a three-pack sample from www.cosmeticville.com. The order also came with an …Read more

Hair Styling Tools - Unlisted Brand - Tourmaline Featherweight/Travel Hair Dryer (Original and Bespoke versions)

I have the $200 Featherweight version. Pricey but very worth it to me. I have very thick, coase Asian hair that takes forever to dry. While I don't think the T3 cuts down drying time as much as it claims (75 percent, I believe it says?), it does help make my hair smoother and less frizzy. I use it in combination with my T3 Wet to Dry flat iron and the T3 diffuser on other days.

Hair Styling Tools - T3 - The Diffuser II

I use this diffuser with my T3 Featherweight hairdryer for when I don't mess with my natural waves. I love how it helps define my curls and does so quickly. However, I'd had mine for about 6 months now and it's starting to widen where it attaches to the hairdryer. I had to tie a rubber band around it so it would hold. Still, I love the effect enough that I would repurchase.

Hair Styling Tools - T3 - Tourmaline Wet to Dry Straightening Iron

5.0

Jan/20/2008

I've tried just about every flat iron availalbe, and the T3 Wet to Dry is my favorite. I have very thick, coarse hair that I straighten most days. Sometimes it can take me 45 minutes, and I have to be very careful about drying it exactly as I want it to lay once dry. This is the first flat iron where I can dry my hair upside down, etc. then straighten and it comes out perfectly. I don't …Read more
