I am constantly on the lookout for a matte brown palette, so when I asked the employee at Ulta to show me some options, she led me directly to this one. It should have raised some red flags when she practically insisted I buy a primer with this palette.
First of all, my skin is very difficult to match (light with olive undertones). This is why I typically opt for brown, as the shades …Read more
(I would rate this a 3.5 out of 5.)
This is a very different type of conditioner. It is meant to nourish processed hair, so it is more like a mild protein treatment. It is not designed to be moisturizing as a priority.
With that said, I think this conditioner is OK. It's not something that I typically reach for, but I use it when my hair is over-moisturized or needs a …Read more
I'm pleasantly surprised by this powder! Powders very rarely work on my oily skin. NOTE: I have only used this as a finishing powder. I have never tried it as a foundation.
-evens out skin tone
-can be cakey if over-applied
-lightest shade too dark for very fair/fair skin
I was really impressed …Read more
This concealer is alright, but nothing special.
-liquid, so it spreads/blends easily
-has very light shades; good for very fair skin
-coverage is minimal
-dries out my skin/can look cakey
I have fair to light skin, and I bought the shade light/medium against the sales person's advice. She advised that I go a …Read more
I must have a different sense of smell than everyone else, because I LIKE the scent. It smells like a dreamsicle to me! I love understated color. Very nice for every day wear. It's a mix between lip gloss and lipstick. Youthful looking, but stays on well. It's a tad bit drying, but nowhere near as drying as lipstick. Also, a little sticky. I kissed one of my baby nephews goodbye, and my …Read more
I seem to be in the minority when in that I really like this powder. It stays matte, has decent (but not heavy) coverage, and evens out my skin tone. I use it over foundation or tinted moisturizer. I have never used it alone, so I can't attest to its effectiveness as a powder foundation. I get compliments on my skin when I wear it. It is difficult to find in stores near me, so I order it …Read more
I really like this as a co wash. I also use it quite a bit as a regular rinse out conditioner especially in the summer when my hair doesn't need a lot of moisture. It has protein in it (which my hair LOVES), although I don't know if it's really enough to make a difference or if I'm just imagining it. I also really like the smell. The only problem with it is that I have to be …Read more
I bought this after hearing all the hype, and I must say I'm disappointed. It has decent coverage for a BB cream, but this is definitely not for oily skin. Every time I looked in the mirror, I needed to blot and when I did, I noticed a lot of makeup coming off onto the sheet. I washed it off halfway through the day because I got tired of blotting. This may work well with a primer and powder …Read more
I accidentally picked this up instead of the Dream Fresh BB cream which I was excited to try because I heard it was good for oily, acne-prone skin. I wore this stuff on a day when I was going to take a walk on the beach. I figured the sunscreen would be enough to protect my face if I also wore sunglasses and a hat. First if all, this stuff has a weird feel to it. It dries really quickly and seems …Read more
