This is a light-medium amount of moisture. It is very similar to Neutrogena Oil Free sensitive skin moisture, but this is a touch "heavier" feeling when on the skin. It goes on with more slip, too, and takes longer to soak in. Sometimes I like a bit of a barrier feeling when my skin is sore and sensitive. This is okay for that. It didn't add any calming benefits other than just …Read more

Got this from YesStyle for $11 something. Cheaper than most US sunscreens! This is lightweight and goes on clear. Awesome. It didn't dry me out, exactly, but it must have a high % of zinc oxide in it, in addition to the very good UVA blocker Uvinul A plus. I don't do well with a lot of ZO. This sunscreen leaves a dry feeling on my face and fingertips. I expect it to be less annoying in …Read more

I wanted a light coverage, moisturizing makeup. This sort of fits the bill. It's a strange consistency - like a gel that sets quickly. It does not spread easily. That's the hyaluronic acid. It comes out with a doe foot wand like a lip gloss would have. Weird. I won't touch that to my face then put it back in the jar. Rubbing it on my hand meant I had to work super fast before it …Read more

Low % zinc oxide isn't the best sunscreen, but it is the only one I can use comfortably when my skin is aggravated. I've tried higher zinc % lotions, but my face reacts. Good for the day after retinoid use. I have to reapply a lot to stay protected. This is a gloppy white cream. Goes on shiny. Not at all elegant, but I don't feel any itching or burning when I use it. It did not …Read more

(review is for the cream version in tub) This stuff works. I get itchy, tingling skin and occasional eczema patches on my legs, back, and face in wintertime. Recently I've been using strong sunscreen and re-applying often. I need the sun protection, but it makes my face itchy, even after I remove it and moisturize. Not an allergy, just my skin 'noticing' the active ingredients. …Read more

I got the cream version, in the tub with the pump. I get dryness, sensitivity, and infrequent eczema in winter. I've been trying a lot of moisturizers to find soothing, non-irritating products. This cream is great. It's super thick but not greasy. It is a little hard to spread and takes a little time to dry, but it does have some slickness. More than Vanicream. This cream plumps and …Read more

It's a passable zinc sunscreen that gets itchy the longer I have it on. I got this to put on mornings after retinoid use, to avoid extra irritation. (Otherwise I go with something that works better under makeup.) This calms my red cheeks and looks okay on me, because I'm very fair-skinned. It has all the cons that come with mineral-only sunscreen: it's thick and tough to spread …Read more

Very cosmetically elegant. A runny, thin lotion. I tolerate it pretty well. I'm fine with chemical sunscreens most of the time, unless my skin is dry. Then it stings. There is fragrance, so beware if you're sensitive. It glides around the skin easily and sinks in pretty invisibly, but does leave an obvious shiny finish. It doesn't really feel like anything on, which I love. I hate …Read more

I really like this oil for winter skincare. I like to add a drop or 2 into moisturizer for my driest areas - my cheeks, chin, and lower legs. I also like it for makeup removal. I used to use olive oil to remove sunscreen and waterproof eye makeup, but somehow this is less irritating. That feels heavy and greasy. This glides on better and my skin glows. I like it for removing wax bits from my …Read more

They've added much more fragrance and it is just too strong. I used to love Vaseline products. They worked well and I enjoyed the light cocoa butter/sweet scent. It's so unpleasant now. Cloying perfume. The lotion does work to moisturize and has lasting power, but it feels greasier than it used to. It's like it doesn't sink in and I have to wipe my hands off on a tissue …Read more
