I have this in sunkissed and have surprised myself by using it everyday.
Love the shade, very light bronzey with a dab of rose and a thread of silver.
Highlights without looking frosty.
The formula puts me off a bit, it's defnitely not creamy, more of a sticky vaseline like base and smells so-so. I'm extremely sensitive and clog prone and haven't had a problem at …

Whhhheeeeeee... love this concealer! I'm usually not a big fan of liquidy concealers but this one won me over. It comes in a small needle nose plastic tube and maybelline often has BOGOF so it can be a pretty good deal, especially since a tiny bit goes a loooooong way.
The formula is very thin yet quite pigmented and slightly luminescent.
I apply my daily sunscreen which …

I have both this and acapulco glow, and love both. AOS is silvery white which initially put me off but with the right application it looks amazing. It only works on me with a skunk brush and a very light hand, otherwise it can end up way too cool and frosty. I get a super glowy sheen that is defiintely one of 'those looks' you always see in ads. I can get away with a few dots of …Read more

For ref. I'm an MMM with light sundamage the seemingly eternal clogged pores from daily high ppd sunscreen usage. I tried the AHA souffle back before the package redesign and wasn't impressed at all.
Recently gave it another go and love it!!! I've been waking up up with glowy beautiful skin which looks much smoother. Texture is a little tacky and it tingles going on, but …

Lotions/ Creams - Eucerin - Dry Skin Therapy Original Healing Soothing Repair Creme

Texture/formula can be a bit scary at first, super thick gooey cross between crisco and marshmallow packaged in a big industrial tub; needless to say the first impression was doubt. A few months later my tub has huge dips in it and I have little to-go sample post of it all over my house, in my gym bag, and in my makeup bag. This is the ultimate multipurpose cream. I use it as lip moisturizer …Read more

I'm a neutral light MMM and SC-2 is a great match for my skin. Most of the secret camo tones seem quite peachy, if you need a bit more olive/yellow in your concealer try mixing this down with a mary kay signature concealer (great coverage and def. quite yellow/olive toned), if you need a tad more neutral (try mixing down with maxfactor panstick stick foundation true beige, great as a …Read more

Blush - wet n wild - Silk Finish Blush- Naive [DISCONTINUED]

Another WnW gem. I remember this brand being terrible in the 80's and 90's and suddenly I've got 3 HG's in my MU bag from WnW. Naive was nearly impossible to find but well worth the search.
It's a gorgeous highly pigmented matte bright peachy pink. On my light MMM skin it comes off as an innocent flush with a twist. It's matte, but not chalky or thick, it …

Looks boring medium dark rose in the packaging but goes on vibrant flushed rose on the cheeks and mlbb flushed on lips. Very pigmented and easily buildable yet sheer/dewy enough to look natural.
The color looks a little scary when you first put it on, but it melts right in with a little blending. Reminds me a bit of Milani Mango Tango. I've actually had MU artists at counters …

Bronzers - Dr. Hauschka - Translucent Bronzing Tint

This is one of those quiet sneaking HG's that just slides right in and becomes essential. I wear sunscreen everyday, and mix in two pumps of Dr. H's bronze concentrate and I get an awesome glow. It isn't a tropical summer tan, but on my light MMM skin it's a healthy bronzed look, with no shimmer or orange at all. I've been using it a while, and have had no breakouts or …Read more
